Getting Hurt/HUD/Fight Night Round 4

In boxing when fighter are stunned you can visually see it, whether there legs bucket for a second, or they walk on wobbley legs( Legs are gone) for a couple of seconds. They're body language gives them up and is a sign you may have hurt your opponent. I hope they have something like this, and when you play online the hud system will be cool if you can only see your hud and he can only see his. You don't know when his health is low you have to study how he is reacting in the fight, and if he's hurt you might risk going in for the kill.

*** Online matches you only have a visual of your hud and your hud only, while your opponent only can see his, the making for an interesting match.

What do you guys think?

I think the devs should make it an option once again. You can have your hud turned on or off.

I like your idea of only being able to see your hud online. However, if the option is there I'll turn it off completely.

In previous the previous fight night you could turn it on or off, but if it was off it was off and if it was on you can see yours and your opponents. I'm saying if you turn it on you can only see yours and not his. It's in a way cheating if you can see his. Can you imagine the fights though, wow

I think we shouldn't be able to see our opponents hud whether it be on or off. Getting a knock down will feel a lot better because just see your opponent drop, you didn't just see that his health meter was down

I think thats a GREAT idea bro. Someone should let the Devs know. Im sure they'd be willing to put that into the game. They probably haven't thought of it.

I think its a great idea too. I would LOVE for this to happen but I doubt it can be put in now. Game is almost done.

Not true, its a very minor thing. and there are still a few months left of development.

Need to be able to turn Hud Off. Period.

I always had it off in round 2 and I enjoyed it that way.

You mean besides the HUD? I mean if my boxer is starting to get sluggish and huffing, GREAT, but if the HUD is right there anyway I'm going to look at the HUD and say "Crap only 2 more punches and I go down". If you can't turn the HUD off, the visual clues are just eye candy because the HUD tells the story.

All there needs is an option to turn HUD off, its that simple. But because they didn't map buttons either, I think there is a concern about options in this game.

See, thing is, it isn't really "two more punches and I go down" anymore... If you're hurt bad, and you've got 50% health, if you eat one flush, you'll probably go down. I always play hud off, and this year, it's MUCH easier to tell how much a fighter has left just by looking. Having said that, the presence of a third very important meter this year might make people start wanting to keep it on, depending on how much of an impact the mechanic that third meter represents makes.

In real life, if your a fighter and your in the ring you can sense if your getting fatigued before you actually do and your opponent won't know it until your REALLY are. If your hit with a punch and it hurts you can try to play it off the best you can without him knowing it if you can. Just like if a boxer hurts his hand in the ring he'll try not to give his self away.

On Fight Night turning off the HUD for both fighter really doesn't make any sense because you want to manage yourself, you need to know how tired you are getting before your body language gives yourself up. You can do it in real life, he can't jump in your body and know your vital signs when he wants to, FAKE. If the HUD is toggled on the only HUD visible on your screen should be yours ONLY not your opponents and vice versa. If it's toggle off then your HUD is gone, your already couldn't see his now it's nothing.
