38 of the 40 Boxers In FN4 Revealed

I know that one of the last two fighters is Tommy Hearns based on the preview of the upcoming episode of GameTrailers TV.

Edit: Actually it's not 38 because they seem to have duplicate entries for a few fighters like Joe Frazier and Roy Jones.

Mods feel free to change the title of the thread to 'More FN4 Boxers Revealed'.

Tommy Morrison is the last one.

Cant say that I'm ecstatic about this list. No Calzaghe, Klitchskos, Haye, Williams, Mosley, Mayweather.

Only 14 are active boxers and some of them are near retirement (Jones, Toney, Morales, Holyfield)

Not a terrible list - glad to see sugar ray robinson and floyd patterson, but I have to gripes just from looking at that webpage:

        1) the shorts! since there are more 'legends' than current, it makes the homey length even more bad looking. Most fighters on there had their knees showing as well as the short being more fitted and less baggy. I'm going to have to re-watch some of the fn4 vids again to see if it's like that during gameplay - should be easy as watching tyson since he had short-shorts (regular in my mind but ...)

        2) James Toney is on that list twice - different weight categories don't matter! it's only one boxer and that's a little cheap to do that and count him as 2. Edit* sorry, didn't see roy jones and joe frazier on there twice too (makes it even worse)

hopefully the muscle-flexin', punches a' grazin' and damage zones work out well enough to carry the game.

Actually those are pics from FNR3^^^^

I actually think that list is bogus. Im pretty sure its a glitch on the site or something.
          1. all those new pics are from FNR3.
          2. New heavyweights that weren't listed in original list
          3. How is Mosley not on the list if was at that media day EA held.

          Just doesnt make much sense.

Look closely- that list is actually Round 3's roster with the two weight classes from Round 4 that have been revealed. There are fighters not on that list that I saw in the game back in February.

This bugs me a lot, it wouldn't be an EA game if their wasn't some sort of underhandedness..ffs. I guess 36 or 37 just didn't sound right to the marketing guys..

That makes sense. I was surprised that basically the entire roster was out there today given that they've been releasing only a few fighters at a time.

I think you're right. I think they screwed up something with their site and accidentally merged the list of FN3 and FN4.

Methinks it's a glitch as well. Toney being on the list twice (once as FNR4 render, the other as a FNR3 render) is a dead giveaway.

EDIT: It is in fact a glitch. The real roster page is:

                    Is Holyfield confirmed?

Most of the list said TBA.

Nevermind, i guess its concensus it was FNR3's roster.

Yeah, just so you get it straight from the horses mouth, there was a mix up with the website and it populated that roster page with the fighters from Round 3.

Man i can't believe they don't have holyfield in his prime, having him in the game with hair the one that beat buster douglas and riddick bowe and foreman. He was a beast and pitting him against tyson would be awesome.

Yeah they always have the older fat Holyfield. Thomas Hearns also looks fat, but atleast he's in the game. Im still buying it first day.
