    Pacquiao vs hatton 24/7

Anybody else watching this? I'm just amazed at how much the changes they've made In The training of both boxers is going to affect the fight. Hatton is a much better fighter with mayweather in his corner, more controlled better defense. It was evident in the paulie fight. Roach co-training with michael moorer is a brilliant move. Moorer can point out weaknesses in form Roach might not see from his perspective.
I'm still going with Pacquiao but don't count Hatton out, he can bring the heat and if he improves his defense he can be a real dangerous threat.

I'm going to be at the fight, hopefully also at the weigh in. I'm really excited, and its going to be mayhem in vegas with filipino's and the english all over the place. Hopefully I have a good time and not have to fight anyone like I almost did during the Paquiao vs Morales 3 fight.

I really like adding Moorer to the mix. It's really giving manny other insight. I agree with Roach that he probably spreading himself thin with doing it mostly himself in the past.

Hatton really looks good too and looks so much better under mayweather. Seriously, Hatton style was garbage, he looks better than ever with Mayweather.

I like to add i'm already sick of the Mayweather Poetry hour, i can't believe I have to hear it for two more weeks.

they collabed with PAcman, and made a shirt that he, and hsi whoel team will be wearing to the ring during the Hatton fight...

How do you hold the Pac Man.

It seems too easy to take Pac in this fight. Am I missing something?

I feel the same way. Pacquiao is fast and can take a punch. I also agree that Hatton will go back to his smother and fight on the inside ways. Pauli didn't have to power in his punches to test Hatton for 12 rounds like Pac-Man can. I've been more and more impressed with Pacquiao the more I've watched him recently.

THATS WHAT I'M SAYIN! Am I missing something? I don't think I'm across the pond.... Manny should win easy to me because Hatton is going to walk right him. Big Floyd trains for speed and defense...so Hatton will either go back to his old straight forward wrestling ways and get whipped, or stand in front of Manny, cuz Hatton's footwork is horrible, and try to dodge & pick off punches like he's Lil Floyd, resulting in a much worse beating. Ricky does have a legit chance because its boxing but Manny has been looking amazing!

Well the fact that Hatton is a legit Junior welterweight champ is one. Pacquiao has been tested and dropped by flyweights is 2, and this fight is actually Pacquiao's first true test in a heavier division is 3.
In the Delahoya fight Manny looked spectacular but it also could've been just a horrible performance by Delahoya. After this fight we WILL know.

You're getting decent value IMO. I just don't think a fighter can flip his style and all he's learned (bad habits) that quickly, especially against a quality opponent.

Even with his new trainer there is no way that Ricky should try to box with him. I actually think he needs to take his old approach and push forward but blend it in with his supposedly improved defense. Easier said than done though.

I think Pac will see what he's got early and this will be Hatton's chance. Because if Pac doesn't think he can hurt him, he'll outbox him. Hatton will have to do something early. Land a couple good hooks and give him something to think about while hatton's fresh.

Pac does tend to slow down a little bit late, but I can't see Hatton being all that fresh in championship rounds either.

I don't expect Hatton to look as silly as he did against Floyd, but I see him being frustrated and beaten by round 6 but most likely lasting the entire fight and losing a UD.

I agree with you, but on the other hand i find it hard to rule out a surprisingly impressive performance by Hatton.

Let me ask you this, could Marquez beat Hatton?

Maybe. Some boxers just have a guy they don't match up well against, for Pac its Marquez. I think the real issue here is that Pac has upped his game so much over the last two/three years that you can't even compare previous Pac fights to gauge what he might do against Hatton.

This Pac right now is at his pinacle. Much better than he was 2 years ago. Much better than he will be 2 years from now. He is in his prime. Able to gain weight without sacrificing anything.

Funny thing about boxing is that different boxers hit their prime at different ages. Pac is hitting his later than most lighter boxers.

Hard to say where Hatton's prime was or is. I like the guy, but looking at his resume, I'm not real impressed sans the rocking he put on Tszyu.

So what's the over/under on how many times we'll hear "There's only one Ricky Hatton?"

Not a boxing fan, but I'm looking forward to this one.
