The result of Pacquiao Vs. Hatton would never happen in FNR4
If simulated 100 times, the result of Hatton-Pacquiao would never happen in fight night. Whether that speaks to the ratings being innaccurate/not meaning enough, fighting AI and styles not effecting results of fights enough, whether Pac needs an enormous ratings boost, you guys figure out. But its a fact, and it shouldn't be. The UFC game gives realistic results to certain matchups as far as we can see. This doesn't (and the other 4 or 5 versions in the past never did either)Tags: None -

Obviously I havent been able to do it, I dont have the game. Im going from gameplay videos, and what I know about every fight night and boxing game that has ever been made. It's a prediction. Feel free to get back to me once the game has been out and prove me wrong.Comment

i think i know where he is trying to go.. in all boxing games you were never able to just knock a guy out cold. like say an early tyson fight or the fight this past wknd. for the most part to knock someone down you had to drain their power bar. and even in round 3 with their flash knock downs if you caught someone in the first round they rarely got counted out."This game, and series, has nothing but contempt for you (now)"Comment

Re: The result of Pacquiao Vs. Hatton would never happen in FNR4
thats partly what I meant. the other thing was I have a strong feeling that there will really be no difference between defending yourself as Ricky Hatton or defending yourself as someone like Bernard Hopkins who has great defense. Hattons guard should be very easy to get through. Hatton should be able to be exploited by the type of boxers who have been able to exploit him. All other sport games have this element of strategy, strengths, and weaknesses. I'd say I hope FNR4 has them, but I am not optimisticComment

Because I was the event and I saw the attribute list. And if YOU KNEW THIS, you would know you're talking out of your ***.
Man, I hate this. Someone sees ONE FREAKIN' VIDEO and passes judgment without knowing squat what they're talking about.
How do you know that the video EA posted wasn't the 80th attempt because the first 79 had Pacquio knocking out Hatton in less than 3 rounds.
And because 99% of the so-called experts out there had this fight being a drawn-out war with either fighter coming out as victor, EA might have felt embarrassed if their simulation kept coming up with an easy Pacman victory.
I'm not suggesting that this is exactly what happened but neither you nor I know the real truth.
Nobody should be flamed for hacking on some of the things they've seen. But you're making ridiculous accusations based on a video that basically features a number of slo-mo punches landed.
It's like me saying a football game is going to suck because I saw a video showing a one-handed catch in the endzone "This game is going to suck! Every catch is a one-handed grab! When is EA going to get it right?!?!?! WAAAAAAAAAAAA!"Comment

Well go back to Ring Kings and this could happen. Called it a blackout if you were on the receiving end. The screen went black and it was over.
You could even do this is Prizefighter. I KO'd a guy in 41 seconds with an overhand right after only landing a few jabs so he wasn't injured at all.
So boxing games in the past had it.
The producers of FN Round 4 know we desperately wanted this and I'm sure its in.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
