A little to fast?
Is it just me or does the movement seem to fast? Also, the boxers throw a ton of punches. I know it's a video game but, it seems very arcade like video game boxing.

Re: A little to fast?
You can watch both videos at the same time (bandwidth beware).
As you can see the punch speed is almost perfect.
The difference in the video's is the punch volume. But look at Foreman's stamina bar. It dips below half on a few occasions - which means his punches will be more telegraphed and won't possess as much pop.
So in reality, you'll want to conserve your punches and make the most of them.
When playing it, I've experienced that lessen on both sides of the equation.

Re: A little to fast?
It is a video game and in that sense the gamer does not have the threat of face and brain damage, so the only way to reign in endless punching is to make you pay for punches stamina wise (i hope missed punches doubly drain your yellow bar) and for your opponent to counter ill advised punches successfully. It would be nice if the demo was 10-12 rounds to gauge stamina factors more accurately, but I doubt it.Comment

Re: A little to fast?
perfect speed-the new system "memorizes" your punch inputs so (FOR EXAMPLE) you can "call up" a jab-right hook combo without waiting for your jab to be completed. The combinations will be easier to execute, but the game's speed is just right.

Re: A little to fast?
I cant speak on it until I see fights against the CPU but if HWs are throwing 100 punches a round, I'm going to be very dissapointed.Comment

Re: A little to fast?
I really thought the same thing before making this a vote thread. I think the people are used to playing video game boxing and you can just throw punch after punch. I would like to see the fatigue hit a little harder when you miss someone though. But, we'll see shortley.Moderator

Re: A little to fast?
Nah, its not to fast, I think folks are still adjusted to Rnd3 which moved extremely slow. You'll get used to it.
I thought the same thing, after I went back and purchased 2004. Its way faster than Rnd3, and in actuality, after I went back to 2004 I couldn't play Rnd 3 anymore. Its going to be just fine. I sold Rnd3 and went exclusively back to FN2004, with a little Victorious boxers thrown in every now and then.Comment
