so what's the official word on the player models issue?

I know they kind of fixed Jermain Taylor, and Brizzo said they're looking into the issue, but the game is set to come out soon. Can anyone confirm that the boxers don't have wide, fat looking bodies? Do they have the V shape like in real life?

No official word that I know of.

You're right though. Anyone welterweight and down, the bodies look weird. EA is never good at getting player models. Madden, NBA, and Fight Night all have weird looking models. Their artists aren't that talented.

Actually man, I said the same thing, but you dont really notice it while your playing. It looks alot worse in still pics, than when the game is in actual motion. Its weird.

The new pics on IGN show improved player models IMO.
