    E3 Video: Hearns vs Cotto

Producer Brian Hayes talks about playing the game true to the sport. Watch as the interviewer takes an aggressive approach. You can really see the fatigue quickly set in and the ability to take advantage of it.

I thought they would fix it before release, but apparently not. the fighters move around the ring way to alow. The foot work is horrible. I am really dissapointed.

I think it looks terrible. This video confirms a rental for me.

If you look at the comparison between the user who knows how to play the game, to the guy who keeps using the "this isn't my controller" excuse, I think you'll see the fighter (Cotto) moves quite nicely. He's weaving in and out, stepping back and in. Looks great to me.

In fact, after the third time watching it, you really see how some are more interested in glam and sizzle than the actual representation of the sport. The interviewer quickly mentions, "Wow, you have his curl." Then he goes on to say how you can "see all the rich athletes" in the stands.

Meanwhile, he's trying to throw a bunch of hard punches, only to be shown you can't do that against someone who plays more true to the sport.

slow down the upper body movement and speed up some of the punching animations. your arms should move faster than your torso. brian did have good moves but it looked a little silly w/ the body moement so fast...looked like rashad's dance in ffw.

i will admit the game there looked noticeably better than the demo.

That's the 1st thing that jumped out at me. The guy controlling Cotto looked very smooth on the controls. He was fighting a realistic fight. When he was talking to this point he went in and hit Hearns with a nice 3 punch combo and then got back out. Impressive.

The upper body movement looks good, but the footwork is still too slow for my taste. It looks like you can only "step" away, like it's always been. No skipping, bouncing, ect. It still looks like it's impossible to perform certain forms of ring generalship.
Shout out to The Watcher! Where you at bruh?

I see what you are saying. There's a weave motion on the right stick that I think will give some more movement, but I do see your point with the approach. It seems like the boxer sort of moves in with a stiff-like motion.
