    About the HUD

I know there's an option to turn the HUD on and off. However, when u turn it off, so goes the clock and round number (well according to one of the videos it does). This is dumb and detracts from the overall shoddy presentation (i.e. no Tale of the Tape).

Well, not having the clock/round number would achieve the same realism as having the hud off, but I do think it should be a separate video option.

Not really. Whenever u watch a fight on TV, the round number and time is always visible on the screen.

If you're actually in the ring, do you know the time and round? Nope.

Actually they do know the round number. Maybe they don't know the time, but they know each round lasts 3 min. That's stupid logic anyway. I guess no other sports game should have time or quarters visible on the screen either.

So why not have a hud so you know your health and stamina?

I never said they SHOULDN'T show the health and stamina when the HUD is on. My problem is that when u turn it off, the round and time information is gone as well. It takes away from the television style presentation.

I feel you there, but I think they were trying to maintain consistency- Most people want the hud off for realism purposes- in the ring, the only way you can determine the state of a fighter is visually. So, to maintain that "in-the-ring" feel, round and time aren't shown either. You'd be surprised how many fighters don't know what round it is IRL.

A TV style presentation template would be nice, with the meters off, and the ESPN overlay intact.

Definitely. I went and downloaded the Prizefighter demo again. Man does that game suck! However, that game had a pretty good presentation. They showed longer entrances with fighters actually entering the ring. They also showed the ring announcer as he introduced the fighters.

Another thing they had was during the clinch (which was mad clunky), u could actually tap A to regain strength, and whenever you got knocked down, u could also tap A to regain strength (basically taking a knee) before you actually got up.

I'm sorry but I have to say this. Have you folks been over to the Prizefighter website? There's about 3 cats over there all by their lonesome still proclaiming Prizefighter as one of the best boxing games ever released in the universe, lol!

No, thats what ole boy says, "This is the best boxing game in the UNIVERSE", **** is hilarious. Them cats is straight delusional, I mean, they scare the **** out of me, lol.

You all ever seen that movie "The mist"? Remember those religious zealots talkin about sacrificing folks? Thats what them dudes remind me of, seem like that type of folk, straight ****in nuts, lol>

+1 .. and it shouldn't be hard to keep track of the round number. Do you not know how to count pro pimp?

Do you even know what u were agreeing with? Talking about "+1" because the guy u cosigned said fighters DON'T know the round number they are in. I'm actually under the belief that fighters DO know the round number (same as you), yet you're trying to insult me? And for what reason? Don't you look quite the dummy now.
