Anyways It was a boring day at work, so I decide to do some research on FNR4's legacy mode since all the talk is about buttons vs sticks...Im using my mobile so Im unable to post links but here is what Ive found....
Most credit goes to shogunn2517 from the EA forums as he's the main source(pipeline leads to him breaking the info first)
Legacy Ratings- "bum" "prospect" "club fighter" "contender" "champion" "superstar" "HOF" "GOAT"
-quick KO's will earn popularity, full fights will earn you rematch requests
ESPN/EA Sports?? PPV's- That fighters can fight as undercards or mainevents....Maybe like UFC???
8 weight classes- 3 belts PER class(EABF is one)
-CPU can move up/down classes, rivals will most likely follow you
-rivalries are better than FNR3
-rankings for all classes plus a pound for pound ranking
-12 CABs imported into legacy mode
-fight schedules and training are done on a calender(ala UFC???)
Training Mini Games- sparring, stay on your feet, heavy bag combos, heavy bag push, dbl end bag, maize bag
-legacy starts in amatuer bouts(amateur tourny) which the user can skip
-you can get called out by rivals, or take "tune up" fights
-FNR4's roster are usable in legacy mode
-you can accept early fights(ala UFC???)
6-7-09
- 400+ fighters in legacy mode(including all divisions?)
- atleast 50 fighters in each class in legacy mode(?) Ali was 19 years old and ranked 50th with a 0-0 record in a vid Ive seen...
- 20 total fights before getting a title shot
- their are set goals you need to reach to upgrade your rating(bum to prospect etc...)
- some goals are: to maintain a contender spot, you need a winning % of atleast 70%, atleast 20 total fights, popularity in the 70?(not sure maybe 75) in the top 10 in the ranks
6-10-09
- legacy goals can be customized, which adds replay value
- fighters start to age at 30 and therefore training will help maintain your stats instead of increasing them as they decline
-legacy is fueled by popularity and P4P rankings as this year's legacy mode theme is to be the GOAT...POP can be earn by knocking guys out or just having great fights snd rivaries and of course winning and defending titles...P4P rankings are gained by winning and winning efficiently(spammers wont climb up the P4P rankings anytime soon) also despite being the most popular fighter in the world it wont mean anything without P4P rankings to back it up which will mean that you are not the GOAT
