Why no Michael Buffer?? Presentation IDEA

I don't understand why they skipped out on this. Granted. I'm glad i can choose my entrance. And I'm not a UFC fanboy. But why does their game have Bruce Buffer saying "Ladies and gentlemen" etc etc. Why couldnt EA have Michael Buffer for big fights introduce the fighters "For the millions watching around the world...LET GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEEEEEEEE" and then have cut scenes of the crowd going crazy. Maybe a close up of notable movie stars or athletes in the crowd. How much would that add to presentation if they had something simple like tale of the tape, and Michael Buffer introducing your fighter.

Also, as a smaller idea. Let's say there is a champ. And the winner of the fight fights him. Maybe a cutscene and the announcing team acknowledge he's in the audience to watch who his next opponent might be. Maybe since we have a calender now, a month before the fight they could start doing a 24/7 on your created fighter and his opponent if it was a big fight. Just generic stuff of him training, having a bbq, the trainers talking trash etc etc. Then on fight night, you have a video game representation of Lennox Louis and all the other boxing announcers standing there talking about a possible next fight and showing clips of your 24/7 much like NFL 2k5 halftime show, or the sports desk for College hoops 2k8.

The addition of being able to add trainers would also be nice. Some have attitudes like Floyd May Senior, or Freddy Roach, interviews, could even be text like in smackdown before they added the voices. There is great possibility. I hope they really deck out the presentation for Round 5.

What do you guys think of that idea?

They wanted Buffer or Lennon Jr., but couldn't afford them.

I would have liked to see buffer or Jimmy Lennon Jr. What I really want which has yet to happen is for the announcer to state your record during pre-fight announcements. I would love to hear that. I was surprised UFC didn't have that. I hope the next fight night does. It is a small feature but I would love to see it.

Yeah, it would be nice to hear the very same things from the announcer that you would hear in real life. Record, where he's from, etc. UFC did the best job so far on overall presentation, but I am surprised that didn't go completely all out. Next year hopefully they will.

Buffer costs an incredible amount of money. Way then he is worth.

I'm with you guys. But the bad thing is...the next game won't be for 2 years.
