Retail vs. Demo...difference?
As far as default sliders? The only reason I am not getting this today is the incessant clicking of the stick drives my wife nuts, lol. I care about that because my wife bought me my 360 for my 31st b-day. Yeah, she's a keeper. Is it easier or harder? How does it move differently? Are punches more responsive? What other changes were made since the demo released? Thanks guys!Tags: None -

Re: Retail vs. Demo...difference?
I'd like to know the answer to this too, because it seems as if the punches are way too soft for my liking.
I like how the game plays, it's just that EA said the one clean punch can end a fight. Me and my friend were testing a few things out, and as Pacquiao, I failed to knock down Hatton (not blocking, just standing still) until the 15th or 16th haymaker hook to the head.
Even when he had been 'rocked', and his health bar was red, it still took 5 FLUSH haymakers to knock him down.
Surely this is unrealistic in boxing.Supporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

Re: Retail vs. Demo...difference?
In the demo I never got a knockdown. In the retail version I definitely have.
I haven't seen any situations where I was behind in the fight and came back with a good punch to knock a guy out with one shot, but I also don't have a ton of fights under my belt yet. That said, I've had some good knock downs. I knocked the lights out of Joe Frazier as George Foreman. I wore him down and knocked him out in the 6th round. It was the first time during the fight I knocked him down and he was out. It's not overdone, but you can definitely knock guys down in the retail version..I just haven't seen that one shot that comes out of nowhere yet.Comment
