Question bout how long to go between fights

I'm in the light heavy weight division, cruising along, once I got into the mid 20's for ranks I've noticed fights are starting to get alot tougher as they should. I've actually lost a few here and there and have had one go down to a total draw which really was prolly the most epic fight I've had thus far. My question is, up til the last couple fights I've really only been going like a month or so between fights which usually nets me one training before each bout. Is this a smart thing to do or am I hurting myself by not increasing my skills more before moving up in the rankings? Or does that not really matter?

Well, in real-life, the average PRO boxer will have 2-4 fights a year (Superstars usually do 2). I scheduled 4 fights in my first year following the tourney to start the mode. My last fight I took about 100+ days off and got 2 training sessions out of that. My others I had around 40-80 with only one.

So as I advance and climb up the rankings, I will try to play it more to real life and go for 4-6 months between bouts. probably get 3-5 sessions before Fight Night. waiting too long can hurt your popularity...

I just started my legacy last night and am only 11 fights in. I was taking a lot of time between fights to get 2 or sometimes 3 training sessions in before a fight. But then I got an email from the trainer saying I need to fight more or my popularity will go down. I did notice right after that it had gone down 2%.

So now I am usually going 1 training session after a KO win and 2 for a decision.

You may want to change your stratagy a little bit. Early in your career you are better served just taking the 1 month off they give you. I'm 15 fights into mine and I take enough time now to get two training sessions in. I haven't seen 3-5 yet. I tried too, but the most I was able to get was 2. As you climb the ranks you will see that fight won't be available for about 60 days after your last fight then you will have to stretch it out to 3 months to get that second training session. I usually take a fight and pick the date that will give me 2 training session (which like I said is the most I've seen). Taking long layoffs will hurt your popularity as time goes on. I think 4 fights a year is a good goal. (Fight, 1 month recovery 2 moths between fights for "training" fight again, wash, rinse repete.)
