In Legacy, how often do you fight?

I fight every four months. So, three fights a year. Curious to see what others are doing.

    Love this freaking game, btw.

I try to fight every four months so i can get 2 training sessions in sometimes if i compare the fighters and the other is significantly better I shoot for 3 training session.on the other hand if its an opponent where i feel liek i can just floor them then i go for 1 training session

Yeah I try to fight 2 or 3 times a year.....Having those 2 training sessions are great. Sometimes I go for the 3 training sessions if I want to get my ratings up.

To be honest guys I am fighting every month right now trying to move up. I am fighting on Pro and I went from 50 to 26 and now I am in some really big time fights. I really do not see the point in waiting real long because lets face it the training on this game is very frustrating.

I fight every month, im currently 17-1 and ranked 13th, my overall rating is 70. I seem to get more from auto train as opposed to doing the training myself. The only one where i get full points is sparring.

I agree all I do is auto train and my overall is at 64 right now and I am moving up fast. I am fighting as a Welterweight so I have a good chance of moving up in weight classes.

Re: In Legacy, how often do you fight?

Glad to see I'm not the only one auto training. I think it's the controls that make the training so frustrating. I'm finally getting use to the NEW punch stick. I switched to classic for a while but now that I switched back, I don't know how I thought that was better....atleast in this game. Round 3's punch stick seem to be more leanient.

Example: If you try the classic version in Round 4 you better make sure you follow thru and complete the rotation of the stick or your not punching, which is VERY frustrating when you have a huge opening for a counter but fumble because of that. Round 3 seemd to be mmore leaniant towards not following thru with the movement so much.

Anyway- I've been booking fights usually a week or 2 after my rest period....we'll see if it bites me in the *** later.

Re: In Legacy, how often do you fight?

Yea, I started scheduling fights the first day I could after the rest period. I gotta tell you that has caught up with me. I just had a really difficult fight, against a good fighter. I havent done a two trainer before any of my fights. I have to slow down big time. I'd say at the start you can go through the fights fairly quickly. I'd start slowing down a bit once your guy gets to the prospect level. Again thats just to be safe.

My guy is 8-(6)-0-0. If I remember I think im ranked around 34/35 in middleweights. Overall hes a 64, fast hand speed/foot speed, low on power, (58-59) right and left hands.

Re: In Legacy, how often do you fight?

I fight as soon as I can get another fight in. I've lost 4 fights out of 22 so far, and often times I've only gotten bum and prospect on the training games.

i agree i fight as soon as it's available :X only 1 training session per i guess

although once i get a title belt

i guess i can stretch it to 2 training sessions per fight

but man some of y'all ration it out like formulaic

                          fight! FIGHT !!!

I fought right away for my first couple then went to 2 training peiods before the fight. I don't know though, I was 6-0 and ran into a fight that I was not even close to prepared for. I am using Tyson and I fought some guy who was smaller than me but just out boxed my a@@ so badly. I couldn't get in on him and he just kept picking me apart with his jabs and counter punching. It was so frustrating and demoralizing. I am thinking I should have done alot more training in between fights even to start with.

I just ended my 3rd year 24(9)-0-1 (middleweight)

only 1 training session per fight, pro difficulty, default sliders

i'm ranked 14th - seems like i might have to slow down because the guys ahead of me are lookin tough
