Look I'm enjoying this game and all but how ridiculously stupid is the fact that you can headbutt. I'm sure there are 10 year olds everywhere who love it but let's be serious, what does it add to the game? I could see accidental headbutts but why add a feature that is going to do nothing but create cheese??? Even if ea felt they had to add this then please tell me why the hell they would allow it to be in online play as well??? Come on now, that's basically ea promoting cheese if you ask me... One match in particular really set me off.first my opponent gave me two quick headbutts, no surprise, and was warned. At this point I'm happy because I feel headbutting is gone for at least this match... Well apparently this wasn't the case. In the 9th round, after a spirited comeback, my opponent hits me with a jab, hook and a headbutt .. Nxt thing I kno I'm dazed, one more hook and fight over... Thanks ea!!!! Sometimes you guys really make me wonder....

Agreed. Very cheesy. I had a guy headbutt me three rounds in a row as the bell sounded.I guess if you do it then you don't get warned. -

I was playing this random online last night. I had him stunned from a right hook and I went in for the kill and he headbutted me. That was the second time he did it and then got warned from the ref. Totaly took me out of my game because the ref stepped in and he wasn't stunned anymore.
I think they EA needs to take this out. It's against the rules so why is it in? It would be like Madden having a face mask button.

Here's a idea if EA wants to go sim...
Award the users for boxing instead of spamming..
Spamming inside body shots(hooks/uppercuts)will cause u to hit below the belt which will eventually take points away from you...

The CPU attempted a headbutt against my boxer twice in a fight. He never connected, so I guess he wouldn't get a warning, but I was amazed that the CPU even tried it.Comment

Yeah, I've seen tons of fights and I've NEVER seen a guy wind up and fling forward trying to headbutt another dude...yes you see the accidental head butt from time to time but the blatant headbutt? Never seen it (as it's depicted in the video game). I saw an "ear bite" once...but that's another story....Comment
