Against Paul Malignaggi and lossed a unanimous decision. I landed 471 total punches to his 429. Jabs 236-178 in favor of me. Straights 145-126 in favor of me. Left hooks 36-21 in favor of me. Right hooks 43-43 tie. Left Upper Cuts 41-6 in favor of him. Right upper cuts 20-5 in favor of him. Counter shots 36/38 for me, and 21/30 for him. I felt like i outboxed him enough to maybe win or get a draw. Did his advantage in upper cuts really warrant a Unanimous decision?

Happens in real life to be the champ you've got to beat the champ decisecivly. Your not going to get a close decision against a champion. -

Just got "Vegas'd" again. This time against the other champ in my division, a game-generated fighter named Horatio Ward. I carried this fight and controled the fight. One judge had me winning 116-112. The other two called it a draw at 114-114. Unbelievable lolComment

yeah I would say that if you don't beat the champ decisevely you probably won't get the decision. I had a really crazy call the other night. I was about to knock Tyson out, but he had really messed my face up. Anyway I have him stunned and feel like I am about to knock him down and all of a sudden the ref calls the fight and I lose by TKO. Thinking it had to be the cuts on my face but I have no idea cause they don't really say.Comment

I tend to agree with this line of thinking. You guys had a close fight and it went the way of the defending champ. It happens. Did you knock him down or anything? I obviously didn't see the fight but it sounds like a close fight you just got the short end of the stick.

well you just listed overall punch stats.....round by round is more telling.
Maybe you had a round where you landed 50 out of 70 punches to his 10 out 40....
that's a 10-9 round.
And he could have won his rounds by a smaller margin and more power punches ( his Upeer cuts).....
i've lost fights where my punch landed was higher, but he landed more damage shots and won a lot of cloe rounds where some of the rounds I won were by a larger margin.
i think that's what happened in your fight. Or maybe he scored a knockdown??Comment
