        Ok well I got the game over the weekend. I have fought online most of this weekend.

        Let me say I agree with Jaybee. I fought a Ali spammer. I was Roy Jones Jr. All this cat did was come out jab jab jab jab straight jab jab jab jab straight. Over and over and over. Just staying on me like white on rice. I blocked the shots while using the head movment on the left stick to connect with counter and counter.

        Then in the inbetween rounds the only thing the guy would put points to was his stamina. By the 8th round he had very little stamina left, while I still had almost half mine. I then KO'ed him in the 9th round.

        If you are blocking correctly and using counters correctly. Spammers should not be a issue. They can only throw shots for so long until their temp stamina is drained, then pursue them and connect on them.
        • Drained stamina spammers shots are weaker
        • Your fresh stamina shots do more damage. So pick your shots.

        A tatical opponent is much tougher than a spammer. I have fought more "sim" guys online than I have fought spammers. I have faced two so far. The Ali(spammer) vs Jones(Me) fight he through in the 1000s of punches. I threw 560 and KO'ed him in the 9th. Power fresh stamina vs Weak drained stamina.

          And I notice that drained stamina = much slower punches. Very telegraphed, easy for the counters.

            I've had the same experiences as Stones, so I wouldn't say it's inaccurate. You still haven't suggested what to do against body spammers........? They hit body hooks/uppercuts at such a high clip even while blocking it's ridiculous and the vacuum effect makes it doubly hard to get away from.

            Head spammers aren't a problem (for me), it's the body guys.

              Body spammers are even easier. It forces them to duck down some bring them into jab range much easier. A quick tap of the left joystick to bounce out of range then catch them with two or three jab straight combos. Circle away.

                also guys, be more sensitive with the left stick. every time you touch it the boxer shuffles. so every touch he takes a step with each foot. i only tap it and and double tap it for a bigger move. i never have a prob staying at a distance if my footwork is over 65. you guys are making yourselves stick to each other. that happens in boxing all the time. slow movements on left stick.

                  You attempt to spam to my head and i'll box circles around you, but working that jab as u say is not the ticketm i have tried it...are you on PS3? If so, i have a player i want you to box who cheeses me to hell. He'd come in with the guard high, block the jab, then the vacuum effect would come into play. Ive boxed, practiced mma and took karate, i know about real tasctics and how to implement them. This guy was decent at cutting off the ring, but the vacuum effect made him that much better.


                  Now dont get me wrong i know the differece between skill and spam, i got KILLED by a very skilled Tyson, lol. It was actually impressive.

                    It's the Tyson and Foreman spammers who only gut punch and never get tired that I have an issue with. You can't lower your guard because they are constantly throwing punches. They are constantly throwing because for some reason they don't get tired in the first three rounds. Sometime in those first three rounds they corner you, go spam crazy, wear down your stamina and block break and it's over. I don't care if I have Ali. I probably need to go more evasive to their tactics.

                        I played 4 matches online and they were all robo body puncher. It very hard to defend because of the vacuum effect. They need to make stamina deplete more rapidly. Any boxer who throw 15 punches in row would be gas out let alone 400 punch a round.


                        What I dislike about FN4 is dodging is way more difficult then it should be. It very hard to dodge compare to FN3. So every match is a punch fest. The first one to fall loses.
