the one thing that you absolutely hate and would change if you could

mine?

that 1 counter jab is stronger than 10x power hooks and uppercuts to the face

countering is just insane, i know blah blah blah it's supposed to deal more but honestly can anyone tell me that the counter punches in this game is attuned at all?

so what's yours? the stamina problem? the button punching? the ****ed up mini training games?

Stamina

Now to fill in the blanks... Going to the body has to damage stamina more, and punches need to take more stamina off...

The Rankings in Legacy. You beat a guy and he is still ranked higher than you. Or guys that have records of 1-3-1 in their last 5 fights still ranked in the top 5, 10, 15 etc.

seriously? that happens? :X when i had the game i was fighting guys lower than me avoiding the higher ones since they badly out-stat me and i was still gaining rank

ie: i was rank 19, fought a rank 22 and went to rank 18 after the fight

Here is my original post on it.

Can one of the Community guys do me a favor. Can you talk to someone at EA and get them to explain how the rankings in legacy mode work. Reason being is that I have zero understanding of it.

I'm 22(15)-0. I had a fight against the guy who was ranked 8th in the middleweight division. I win the fight in 10 rounds. Well I move to 11 from 13. Well I go to schedule my next fight and bam the guy that I just beat is ranked 9th! WTF is that. You can lose and improve your ranking? I'm almost 99% sure that if I would've lost that fight I wouldn't be ranked 11th from 13th. I just would like some clarification/understanding of how the rankings in legacy work. Thanks.

This also isn't the first time it's happened which is why I'm asking for clarification on it.

Edit: Or this one. Sergio Mora in his last 4 fights in 0-3-1 yet he is ranked 9th. It makes no sense that that record makes him a top 10 middleweight.

It hasn't gotten better I've beaten Anthony Mundane twice in a row, he is ranked #2 and I'm #3. I go to pick my next fight and I don't have the option of facing the #1 ranked guy. I've got to fight Mundane at #2 or Mora at #4 who I have also beat. Twice.

well i never had the game long enough to encounter the problems you seeing but there are reports all over the net that the Legacy mode is truly unfinished

also some whispers that it's coded in how people you fight at certain times (specially early in your career) are hard-coded to be your rival

as in that guy will be there throughout your career

possible what you seeing so even though you've beaten the same guy 3, 4 times... he'll outrank you etc because he is your rival

:X bleh, oh well

i just hope it doesn't take EA another 3 years to release FN5 cuz FN4 was a total dissapointment for me

My only gripe is thr KD mini game, as a few of us stated in a thread about this, after the first KD you better not fall again cause its over.

Can't say I've seen that, after restarting my legacy since I recreated myself since I wanted to change my best punch from a left hook to a right hook (I tend to throw far more right hands than lefts aside from the jab) I haven't seen that yet at all. I think I'm ranked 13 or 14 in the light heavyweight division. Though I have lost my last 2 fights sadly.

The one thing I'd like to see changed is the game being too dependant on counters, while flash kd's and ko's do happen on regular punches, it certainly doesn't happen anywhere near as much as with counters, in fact damage from regular punches doesn't seem to be near what it should be when compared to counters either.

At any rate though I really do enjoy the game even with the flaws it has.

When you knock guys down they don't get up hurt at all, I beat the hell out of a guy for 12 rounds, abusing him with body shots and hooks. So, I finally knock him down in the 12th, the guy gets up and it's like he was never in trouble, he's moving just as fast as before and all of his punches carry the same weight as before. It's just idiotic to be honest, how can you beat the hell out of someone for 30+ minutes, knock them down and they get up like nothing happened.

I can understand if it were a flash knockdown, but he took a ruthless beating for 12 rounds.
