I play on Champion, so I'm not a bad boxer, but if you don't have the time (or patience) to master Training on your playing level than I suggest giving this a try if it's really frustrating you or ruining the game for you.

For those who have trouble with Training....
Has anyone tried putting it on Amateur just for the training part in your Legacy? It's a much better option than Auto training, which is what I did, until I realized about every 3 training sessions I'd only go up 1 overall, and that I had it coming for only being a 72 (18 fights) while I climbed the ranks and was getting ready to face high 70-80s guys. It might be possible to go through it with all Auto but I'd imagine it'd cost you some prime years of your career having to do so many extra sessions.

Is this what you do?....before a fight you switch the mode from Champion to Amateur and get your ratings up in the training? -

Wow, awesome find. I'm gonna try this out the next time I play. I usually achieve Contender or Champion on the training games but if this will help me get Champion 99% of the time, I'm all for it.Comment
