Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression
CAP middle weight 5'-11" 155 Eddie Taylor. Best punch Straight. Speed and good thrower.
Playing on Champion, HUD off.
4-0 with 0-KO's during amateur tournament (all decisions). Won the tournament, Plenty of KD's, but no KO's. Iam still throwing too many punches. Everytime they go at me, I feel to urge to throw back. Have to improve in dodging and blocking and throw fewer but better punches. Looking forward to my first official fight! -

Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression
I actually finished my legacy over the weekend since I had nothing better to do but play fight night. I went 57(50)-3-1 and retired G.O.A.T as a welterweight then eventually middleweight. I would have kept boxing but my swelling rating was really low, like in the 30s after 61 fights and I didn't want to risk my belts by losing from a stoppage.
But that brings me to my random fight night thought. I wish we had an option to come out of retirement. I love the fact that as you get older your skills start to depreciate. I would like it so that if you come out of retirement, you have to sit out a mandatory 2 years which will cause you to lose your skills anyway from the 2 year layoff, but also lose a little extra from being inactive in the sport. I think it'll be cool that you know the risk that you can tarnish your legacy, but for the fighter who don't know when to quit, it will be a fun option to have. Just a thought.Comment

Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression
23-3 with 18 ko's with tyson so far. I owned One of the belts. Fought Lennox Lewis. Needless to say he knocked me out in 8 rounds after i was winning on the cards. I trained tyson with both auto train and regular train. I got him rated at an 85 right now. The training gets easier as you progress. I know some people have trouble with the heavy bag combo. The trick is to over emphasize everything. I normally get champion on that the maize bag the double end bag. Only thing i really have trouble with is the heavy bag push and sometimes sparringComment

Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression
both. i manually do the OPEN SPARRING and the STAY ON YOUR FEET training. sometimes i sim and sometimes i auto-train the HEAVY BAG COMBOS & MAIZE BAG. so far i have always simmed the HEAVY BAG PUSH training. i plan to do it myself one day though lolok
so im 6-0 with 5 KO's. im a PROSPECT. last 2 fights on ESPN and both considered classics. im taking my time and scheduling fights 3 or 4 months ahead so i can get more training in. i like to do at least 2 before every fight. im on PRO using default sliders except for these
3REF DAMAGE AWARENESS
10BOXER PHYSICAL DAMAGE
10 CPU PUNCH OUTPUT 4
having a good time so far. got Tyson wearing some all white trunks like he had early in his career. i just got challenged by a southpaw named Prosper Collins. the guy is 6-6 245 and 74 overall rating. im 68 overall. he is 21-5. this should be my toughest fight yet. were on the undercard of ppv at MGM GRAND. my first ppv. wish me luck.Last edited by Rawdeal28; 07-01-2009, 07:26 PM."on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"

hmm i gotta test this out, does simulating give you better +'s? auto-train is 50% of the max so if you can get max 4, you get 2

Kai Rivera (named after my nephew) aka "Razor Rivera", a 6"1 Middleweight that has moved up to light heavy. My favorite fight was when I was undisputed middleweight champ and some chump called me out, he was ranked 3rd or 4th, and only had a few loses but he didn't know what kind of trouble he was in for against the Razor. Opening round I beat the brakes off him, knocked him down twice, the first knockdown was perfect, he threw a hook as I just started to bob and weave, I came up and caught him with a vicious right hook and he dropped like he had just been shot. I jumped on him as soon as the ref let him up and he didn't even make it out of the first round, so much for me ducking him>
I had an epic fight against Tomasz Adamek too, he knocked me down 2 times in the first 6 rounds and I came back to win with a knockout in the 9th, he was winning on all cards at the time too. One thing I don't like is how I'm still not P4P number 1, despite holding 2 of the 3 belts in a divison I just moved to.Comment

Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression
well i beat Prosper Collins in a unanimous decision. good fight. i stunned him several times but could not knock him down. i then another fight only about a month and a half later against Elias Johnson.
this guy was just swing at everything from the beginning. throwing haymakers every chance he could. i flashed KD his *** in the 3rd round but he got up. he even stunned me several times. thank god im at blocking so he never knocked me down. i finally put him down for good in the 9th with a left hook.

Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression
I played on champion level and once the boxer is retired you can't use him anymore in that legacy. But yes, you can start a new legacy with that same boxer which is what I am doing now actually.Comment

Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression
Just started a legacy boxer. I've tried to adjust sliders, so I can have some tough competition and can savor a win streak more.
Caine Matthews in the Light Heavyweight division. Currently went through the amatuer tournament and lost in the semifinals, which I was pleased. I know that I am in for a battle to get to the top.
Keep you posted, going to do a few bouts, this evening.Comment

Re: Legacy Mode Discussion/Progression
Up and down Legacy for my heavyweight, Im (22(18)-8) as of right now, playing on Champion level. I won six straight fights to gain a title shot against a guy name Greg Jones 33(23)-17....Don't let his record fool you, I seen why he was champion. The first two rounds were the worst Iever had he picked me apart. His defense and counter punching was on point. He knocked me down in the 2nd round and I quickly rose to my feet. After collecting my thoughts, I started the 3rd round with a new strategy. Instead of my usual outside technique, I switched up and began to smother him. I stunned him for the first time in the 3rd and gained my confidence back. I continued to smother him and work his body, chopping him down. I scored my first KD of the fight in the 7th round, he rose up and continued to fight cautious, then in the 8th he goes down again, yet he rises and shows the heart of a champion. The 9th and 10thround he fought much better, counter my shots and stunned me once each round. The 11th round was a battle we both were trading shots and stunned each other once a piece, bell rings....Last round here we go, who wants it more. My mind set in the final round was "this is my first title fight and im going all out, if he beats me, he is going to have to knock me out, cause im ot leaving it to the judges"......Round begans, and I see he is fighting cautious and picking his shots, I go inside to smother him, he makes a mistake and throws a right uppercut and I counter....BOOM!!!!, big left hook from me, and he is stunned, I go in for the finish, jab, jab, right uppercut, he tries to clinch, but can't I throw a right hook, down he goes....The crowd is on there feet, cameras are going off, the atmosphere is crazy.....4,5,6....he stubbles and falls back down...IT'S OVER, IT'S OVER...We have a new EABF Champion.....
Man, that was a awesome feeling. After the fight, I was up on the score card 104-100 on all the judges cards, but I felt I need to take the fight in my own hands, and the outcome couldn't have been any sweeter.Comment
