    Cab Calculator

    Hey Guys,
1st post here and I think this is something the CAB makers can profit from, my CAB Calculator.
As you all know having given your cab the attribute points in Cab mode and going back to fight now can be a big disappointment since the ratings changed somehow. This is because EA uses TOTAL attributes in Fight now mode, but cumulative attributes in CAB mode. What this means, well, it means that if you want a heavyweight like ali, with increadible foot work and you assign 100 points in CAB mode the output will be 70 in FN mode. This is because a heavy will never move as fast a a fly or bantamwheight boxer. The other way around is when you think of punching power. a Bantam, even with 100points assigned to punch power will only have a max of 32. To make mine and your life easier I made a small excel sheet in which you just have to plug in the attributes you want your CAB to have in Fight Now mode (yellow box), and the sheet will give you an output of how many points you have to assign in CAB mode to reach this level. The Sheet varies for +/-1 per skill because of rounding errors.

    Here is the link:

    How to use the sheet:
Scroll down to your desired weight class and assign the attribute points your CAB should have(yellow box). Remember that you cannot go above the max attribute points per skill. The rest is done by excel.

This was posted just yesterday. I believe it may be the same excel spreadsheet.

not sure what this means. so look at lightweight, it maxes right hand power at 52. does that mean i leave the attribute at 52? or do i add 27 pts to what they already have to max it out?

So if I'm a lightweight in legacy, I shouldn't train hand power cause it won't effect it at all?

@sausage: the sheets are not the same

and for the sake of the discussion the attribute system works like this:
when you look at the stats in fight now, these stats are total stats, which means that 100 is the best a fighter can get AND the best possible in the game. Punch Power at 100 means that you have the hardest punch possible in the game.

This logic doesnt count when you create a boxer. These stats are weight class independant, which means, you can give your small little flyweight a 100 in punching power, which means he'll punch the hardest in this division. However, in relation to a heavyweight, its just 3/10 the power he has in his punches. Ea does that by setting caps for attributes, like punching power or foot speed.

This means that with punching power capped at 32, you have to give your flyweight 100 skillpoints in punching power to achieve this 32. in relation that means spending only 50 skillpoints will result in a horrible 16.

So I have a coupe of questions on this. In Fight Now, if you were to match up a created (or not) featherweight with 100 in power (45 or whatever the adjusted value is at that weight class) vs a lightweight, would the power remain at 45, ie the highest for his true weight class, or does the game adjust if you're fighting someone heavier and allow you to have 55 or whatever max power is at lightweight? Related question is in Legacy Mode, if you move up in weight, do the attributes automatically get adjusted?
