One of my very few complaints about this game is that you have to knock your opponent down multiple times to get a knockout. Have any of you guys had 1st round knockouts? Where you knock your opponent out early with one punch?

you're talking about two things happening at the same time
-flash KO (1 punch)
-1st round KO
...I've had both happen, but nev er at the same time
turn your power all the way up, your toughness all the way down and you should see it happen -

I just mean the knockouts. And I don't really want to adjust sliders. Once I start I can't stop. I'm just going to keep the settings the way they are. If the sliders are on default will I ever see first round knockouts? And to be more clare I am talking about coming out, catching a guy with a shot (or getting caught) and going down the first time and staying down.Comment

yea you should be able to see first round KOs but your guy better be a power guy and be able to bring it :X
also out-stating the opponent is a must
if you guys are even.. your power rating must be higher or else you won't KO him
but you should be able to, it's easier when first starting out than later in the gameComment

Last night I started a Legacy as myself. With no slider adjustments and on the highest difficulty, I almost knocked out my amatuer opponent on the very first punch of the first round. He survived the round but had I knew had to play, I probably could have ended it when he staggered backwards.Comment

On top of that I don't like how the guys always try to get up. Sometimes a guy takes one on the chin and it's lights out. He's not even trying to get up. Even after getting knocked down 3 or 4 times in a fight they try to get up.
The animation where the guy gets hit and just falls straight back like he's stiff would be a great one for him not to try and get up.
Anyone knock someone out and they don't try to get up?Moderator
