Difference between legacy and play now?

Okay, I just played as tyson in play now mode using the exact same sliders I use in Legacy mode.

My foot speed in legacy is comparable to tysons in play now - my hand speed is as well... so?

Well, Tyson in play now is more like a cheetah compared to my guy in legacy - my stamina is higher in legacy than mikes in play now, but I get much more gassed in legacy.

Whats the deal here, anyone else notice this?

Yeah I noticed it. I'm not the best so I play on the default difficulty...but in Fight Now I knocked Ali out in the 3rd or 4th round as Tyson. It was night and day, although my guy is only rated in the low 80's.

I've noticed it as well. Not sure what we can do other than use different sliders for Play Now vs. Legacy. And if that's what is necessary, testing sliders is going to be very tedious, starting legacies over and over again just to test.

Don't you guys realize that once you go into Legacy, your fighters' skills, created or otherwise, are leveled out at the start of Legacy Mode.

The fighters in Play Now, have their full EA-created ratings, so they are obviously going to perform better in that mode. In Legacy Mode, the idea is that YOU are building a boxer from early in their career into a champ...

          Absolutely.

What he's saying is that he's got his Legacy boxer up to a level commensurate with the EA-created real fighters and the sliders don't perform the same.

In legacy mode you are dealng with % of ratings, in paly now its cold cut rating numbers...thats prolly the dif

like 50% of power in Featherweight is NOT a 50 rating, its more like 20 because the limit for power in that divison is like 40 I beileve..

Yea EA made it complicated lol.

So what would you suggest we do?

As far as sliders? I would guess test in legacy or create two dummy CABs and dont adjust heir ratings then test with them in play now...I actually did all of the above and I fine my sliders actually lay better in legacy than play now...

Sweet, doing play now with CABs makes it faster/easier, testing in legacy mode would be pretty tedious. That's what I will do.
