Avoiding Ranked Losses By Quitting (EnemyAcrobat)

Beat a gamer with a decent ranking that would have got me up to 10-4 in regular ranked matches. His gamertag is EnemyAcrobat. He disconnected after a late knockdown which he wouldn't have gotten up from. After disconnecting there was no judges scores-the other stats were there but it didn't register a win for me. I rebooted but still no win. Happen to anyone else?

This actually happens to me a lot. I always get the win, but not a KO.

I've got a couple DNF's, but not from cord pulling. I have two from freezing at a load screen right before my 360 RROD'd and another where my wife needed me (and you can't pause online without getting your brains beat in) so I threw in the towel instead of pulling the cord. I fought the same guy a few minutes later, knocked him down twice and he pulled the cord. My DNF right now because of those three things is either 2 or 3%

I don't bother with the ranked guys too much. Had my first ranked match in about a week the other day. He had a Floyd Mayweather CAF and I had a Danny Jacobs. First round in the fight he blasts me with a special punch and drops me. I had been fighting my friends mostly, so I wasn't expecting it. For the rest of the fight he did nothing but keep throwing those special punches, haymakers and jabs. I beat the **** out of him because he was so predictable and ended up finishing him off in the 5th. If it was a unranked match I would've probably just quit out because it was such a wack fight, but since it was ranked I just toughed it out.

After the fight I messaged him and told him there were more punches in the games than the ones he was throwing. His response was, "you need to learn how to fight." I love Xbox Live.

Translation: "You need to learn how to fight in a way where my one dimensional cheese tactics will destroy you so I can replay my knockdowns of you 3 times".
