How Do You Bob And Weave?

I cant seem to execute this with any sort of consistency. Is there any sort of trick to making this happen when you want to each and every time?

Re: How Do You Bob And Weave?

I'm assuming that you are referring to the left stick bob and weave, not the left trigger/stick bob and weave correct?

If you're playing online my fam, I must inform you that it is not very responsive compared to offline.

Online you have to be very slow and precise with it (atleast from my experience) compared to offline, where you still have to be precise with implementing the command but its more fluid/quick to execute offline.

With the left stick, go from 12:00 to 3:00 (a 1/4 turn)...and from 6:00 to 3:00 for the opposite (1/4 turn).

Like Creep said, it is a slower response online, but for me, it's my bread and butter.

I just simply can't get it to work. Even in the tutorial exercise, I make the motion and it does nothing.

It's akward at first, but keep practicing and it will become second nature.

The reward of getting it down correctly can be very satisfying when used at the appropriate time. Just do what DaveQ said in his post and keep at it.

Man, that couple of milliseconds off that you get when trying this move online has jacked up my whole online experience. Its THAT precise.

I would agree because if you time it wrong, you will fall into the opponent's punch and that usually stuns you to low health. I'll tell you though, sometimes you'll get someone who comes in with some huge structure of a boxer, like he's Goliath, but to weave and smack him down to the mat is rewarding.

The problem is that even when you learn to do this the cpnversation will always go back to how screwed up online is right now.
