    Problem with legacy mode ratings?

In my heavyweight legacy there are six fighters with 100's in all their ratings except for cuts and swelling. Three created fighters plus Toney, Chambers, and Frazier. Anyone else have this problem?

    This could be a possibility:
Max Stats before starting Legacy Mode...

Start new legacy. Win the tourney, Proceed to punch totals in last fight, and hit circle, it will say that you get +5 to power, stamina and heart again. Repeat this till you no longer get stat upgrades.

I haven't heard of this. Can anyone else confirm this? Still waiting on my 360.

Tried it yesterday on my PS3 and it worked. I got a
100 rating on my power, stamina and heart. Don't know
if it will work on the 360.

I am trying it to see. If that is the case I am going to do that and focus on everything else to hurry up and climb the ladder and fight my created CAB's without getting my rear handed to me.

So for all of you saying pro is too easy all you have to do is wait until you are near the top of the rankings and you will be playing against numerous super humans. It's a very challenging experience on pro, albeit unrealistic that James Toney is a 100 lhp, rhp,hs,bt,ht,ch,hrt,fs, and so on.

That's good news really. Makes Pro a more accessible difficulty level.

As long as generated fighters exhibit the behavior too - I don't use any real fighters at all.

EDIT: And of course, it doesn't help make Pro more difficult if the super-fighters all end up in different weight classes than your fighter.

Ok, this works. I am going to post that trick/cheat for those that want to know and give the poster credit.

you could always do it the normal way. Fight people of lower rank until you can face the higher guys.

Well congratulations for killing off the little bit of interest i still had in legacy mode.

Every time with this crap. Every single freaking time. What incompetent team of people sat down with this game and gave the ok to allow top ranked fighters to be maxed in everything again. Again! becuase that didnt get old the first 3 times! We all know how fun it is to lose to someone you were outboxing but their ratings nullified your actual skill.

Guess I cant be suprised. This is EA afterall. The same company that gave me my favorite Madden scenario:

Played a quick match, Eagles vs Redskins on All Pro. After the game I looked at the Line of Scrimmage stats, Eagles had 22 total pancake blocks and Redskins had 17. It surely felt like we were even but I was slightly better than them at the line and the numbers seemed to support that theory. I rematched the game and put it on All Madden this time. End of the game stats, Eagles 3 pancake blocks and Redskins had 37. It felt like everytime I looked up, my offensive line were on their backs and the numbers supported the feeling again.

I love that sports games still havent found a better way to make things harder other than giving the computer all the statistical advantages and then telling us to win in spite of this. This is what they call "Challenge". Rd 3 even had the loading screen that said "Want a Challenge? fight someone 2 or 3 weight classes above you". Or how about this game? How about the AI not be so predictable that I could beat it with my eyes closed (yes i actually did this. Unanimous decision with my eyes closed. I lost like 2 rounds). This game like so many others feel like playing texas hold em with your cards laying face up on the table for all to see.

                    James Toney with 100 power.....

Things like that is why I could never go to EAs offices. I would flip tables and cause a general ruckus that would get me thrown out by security. Id start off calm and together but the second they use one of their buzz phrases I am going to lose it. Id throw a chair at anyone who tells me this ratings **** is fair and i just have to "bring my A game".

Re: Problem with legacy mode ratings?

I beat Toney when I was 70ish overall, my guy retired at 82 overall and I was 54-4 on whatever mode the game starts at. So its not impossible to beat them. It will be fun when I make another and increase the difficulty mode. Ali was a pain to beat with his range.
