LinkNot August
Welcome to EA Forums, where you can chat about games with other players, help each other out, share feedback, and report issues you’re having with EA games.
I don't know if I can stick with this game for that long with an unplayable online mode. I play legacy quite a bit, but I venture occasionally online and it would be nice for it to be closer to boxing and not Facebreaker.
I dont play online so I have no stamina issue but DLC and buttons would be nice as I destoyed two controllers in a monthLast edited by dorismary; 07-24-2009, 04:15 PM. -

September? LOL. This game is getting traded in. There are some very MAJOR issues that need to be fixed asap.Comment

While we wait, I will reveal my secret to combating spam punchers and the stamina issue...it may not be ideal or realistic, but you can counter them by constantly throwing right hand crosses, especially with a boxer whose "best punch" is a straight right hand. It neutralizes spam body punchers. The fights still won't look like real boxing matches, but I'd like to know how many realistic sim-like games people play online in Madden or NCAA Football...there are always people going for 4th and long from their own 30, or taking timeouts up 20 with 2 minutes to go. There is only so much EA can do to punish those who try that. With the new NCAA, they included "sportsmanship" which gives you credit for punting when it's appropriate and making other true to life decisions. I give them credit for trying. Online play is still relatively new (maybe 10 years old?) and it gets better every year. I am, however, skeptical that EA will really release a "stamina patch" at any point, but I can see the benefits if done right.Comment

Sliders in August, buttons and stamina in September. The HUD was removed today, which is a great step in the right direction.Comment
