I have found a small way to deal with these guys. PM me and if I know you well enough I will share what to do. I know this sounds shady, but but it's nowhere near as shady as the Foreman/LaMotta/Tyson weave spammers or the body spammers. I stumbled upon it and all I am going to say is I screwed around, letting a spammer hit me with Ali haymakers and he landed 69 of 184. I destroyed him once I got serious and knocked him out in the 6th, the 3rd knockdown of the fight. I wish I would have seen this sooner.

This doesn't work on WC mode, only in ranked and unranked matches. Like I said, if I know you enough I'll share, otherwise you may just be a cheeser yourself. By the way, this is not a glitch.

Here's the stats from the first fight I used this to prove my point. Please note I am a slightly above average guy on this game.

This guy is a level 12 to my level 6. He was quick enough to dodge most head shots and weaved and countered so I stayed at his body and weaved when he started throwing straights. He headbutted me after every stun (three of them) so he got DQ's in the last round. Were it not for the head butts I would have Ko'd him a lot earlier in the fight.

This guy was a level 8 Ray Robinson haymaker and body spammer. I beat him down within one minute and he just pulled the plug.

By the way, if you see a lot of body shots, these guys are doing a lot of weave and counters, so I only go to the head when I need to against these guys. I don't spam, but I do throw a few and get out unless I know they are hurt/

I just played against the #31 ranked player on the EA servers. The entire fight, using LaMotta, he weaved looking for a counter bo I stayed in his body. His entire game is weave and counter with haymakers after you swing at his head to respond to his body spamming. I had him guessing for the most part, but in the end LaMotta's power was just too much. I'm proud because I gave him a run for his money. Until the jab is a hair faster and more powerful it's nothing but a wasted punch. That's the only way to really fight these bob and weave guys, body, body, body, especially this guy who gave it to me all day until I ran his stamina down and then he'd back off. he out boxed me, but if I ever see him again I have his number.

I'm fighting the #800 something guy on EA's boards, also a LaMotta user. Let's see what happens.

Update: I beat him by 7th round KO. He was indeed a weave and counter with haymaker guy, so I stayed in his gut and threw three to five shots and left. he kept weaving inviting me to throw a punch, which left his body open. I kept throwing shots and wearing down his stamina until I was just to quick for him. Here are the stats. I will be straight with you, I threw 132 haymakers and landed 66, almost all to his gut as he was chasing me. He landed 17/20 counters, I landed 14/16. I didn't go to the head much at all because of his constant weaving, which I hope is stamina patched.

Yeah and the title is a bit misleading too. I expected to see some help in this thread against spammers instead I got some numbers and an Only if I know you thing. I think the title should be "If you want help agianst spammers PM me if you know me."

This was also a great fight. I had a bad cut and instead of fixing it I added stamina. Right as I stunned him the ref called the fight. No excuses, he peppered my eye with the jab. Kudos to him.

I am posting some stats to attempt to back up my claim. I never said it was infallable. I have just been facing more and more tactics that aren't sim and this levels the playing field a little.

If I posted it, those that are generic cheesers will become that much harder and the masters at iit will become even worse. I don't know who on here is sim and who isn't except for a couple of guys. That's why I said PM me. It's like the NCAA recruiting cheat that many didn't know about. It became more well known once it was posted.

That's all I am doing, trying to keep the Chester Cheetah's and Cheese Whiz's from becoming unbeatable. That's all. I get tired of fighting Frankenstein and Shaq online and running all day ducking hooks from arms so long they could reach back to one corner before hitting the other corner as they run across the ring.

Weavers leave their body open. Many online are constantly weaving, wanting you to throw a head shot. Spam the body when they do that. Don't give into the temptation until they get hesitant about their weaving like a spider on meth. Wear down their stamina and eventually when you miss the head off a weave their punches will be so slow you can counter their counter.

First and foremost, I doubt people are still having serious trouble with the spammers..


Until someone fights you or the people you're beating, these fight number mean NOTHING

Without posting your supposed full proof strategy to overcome a tactic that is easy to defend and beat...

This whole thread it pointless
