Slipping punches
Am I the only one who can not do this?Tags: None -
Re: Slipping punches
I still struggle with the bob and weave move with the left stick, but I slip alot of punches using the left trigger and just being in the right place at the right time. Just keep playing and you'll get the hang of it.Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...Comment

Re: Slipping punches
I can't do it at all with the left stick (what they show you in training when you first boot up the game) but im really good at the bob and weave with the left trigger...Against some guys its hard to slip punches though, like Foreman on GOAT was a real pain...This dude was nailing me with ridiculous phantom uppercuts, constantly had me in stun but i managed to slip one and here's what happened...

Re: Slipping punches
I suck at the bob and weave. I can pull it off every time but for some reason my fighter does the "dash" to his side (as if I double-tapped in that direction) and then does the bob and weave.
Slipping punches with the Left trigger button is easy enough... when the opponent starts to throw a punch, make sure you're on one side. Then move the stick to the opposite side when the punch is coming.

Good one! I love the flash knockdowns/KO's.Comment

Re: Slipping punches
I look at the weave like throwing the fireball on Street Fighter. Once I figure that out it was cake. I also helps to start a little left of the down position before you complete the 90 degree turn.Comment
