The Mosley-Clottey fight is totally up in the air. HBO really doesn't want a holiday timed fight, so they are backing away from the original December 26th fight in hopes that both fighters will take a late Jan or early Feb fight-just a matter of getting both camps on the same page.

I don't think the Clottey-Mosley fight is going to happen. Last I heard, Mosley's camp stopped communicating with Clottey, and that SSM was (still) trying to peak more interest in bigger names *cough*Floyd*cough*. Also that Top Rank is trying to put Clottey in a fight on a December 5th card.

I heard that too-on the undercard of Pavlik-Williams, tentatively set for Dec 5.

Arreola-V. Klitschko could be interesting this Saturday, if only to show that the hype over Arreola is completely unfounded.

Yes, America is THAT desperate for a heavyweight contender. Unbeaten Travis Kauffman got KO'd by a journeyman last Friday, so that leaves Arreola and Chambers as the great Yank hopes. After this Saturday, that list will be trimmed to Chambers.

Come on, Eddie: You can do it!

            Take care,
            PK

              Glen Johnson not Tarver.

agreed. however, arreola does have a puncher's chance. don't sleep on him. especially if it turns into a slugfest. it might come down to who has the better chin....

come on, chris: become the first mexican heavyweight champion!

Yeah, it is 3 days away. For those who don't have Showtime, PM me the day after the fight, if you still want to see it. I should be able to point you in the right direction.

I actually got the date wrong, 17th, not the 10th, as everyone but me knows.

Saturday, November 7-Chad Dawson VS Glenn Johnson (HBO)

Dawson has said he would replace Taylor in the Super Six if asked. Of course Jermain hasn't dropped out yet and Dawson hasn't won the rematch with Johnson. I think Dawson would still be comfortably at 168.

I wouldn't mind seeing chad dawson in the super six, it would absolutely be even more interesting, but I would rather see paul williams. its not like pavlik is gonna get healthy and make this fight happen.

Williams just signed to fight WBC light middleweight champ Sergio Martinez in a non title bout. Martinez's most notable effort was a majority draw against Kermit Cintron (the fight just before Cintron's impressive victory against Alfredo Angulo). Most observers claim Martinez should have won. In fact there was some controversy about Cintron being counted out in the 7th round. He could mildly test Williams.
