    Any word on more DLC?

Is the DLC boxer thing going to be consistent or what? Anyone heard anything in the wind? Hopkins, Mayweather, whoever.

The two boxers you mentioned would be at the top of my my list. I'm ready to get my shoulder roll on with Money May. This is one game where I don't mind paying for DLC. They need my boy Zab Judah too, but my created version will hold me down fine if that never happens.

Zab Judah, speaking of him, is one reason every boxer needs his own individual OFF and DEF AI. From the neck down few were better.

Zab, Mayweather and BHop would be a great add for DLC, I thought Zab possessed the ahtletic talent of RJJ but his fundamentals were attrocious. I would also like to see Naseem Hamed, The Marquez brothers, Juan Manuel Lopez and Israel Vasquez. Oh, and 2 more Aaron Pryor and Alexis Arguello.

I would like to see some of the young talent included. Jacobs, Lara, Arreola, and Berto would be nice to see.

My list would be all Super Six participants, Berto, Mayweather, MW RJJ, MW B-Hop and MW Taylor. Oh, and Joe Louis. As far as Marciano, the more I look at his best victories the more I am convinced his best ones were against guys in the 35 and older club (Ezzard, Walcott and Louis). That Super Fight of Marciano vs. Ali was ludicrous. Ali would have given him a boxing lesson. Marciano had power, but his face was usually hamburger at the end of fights and he was slow. He was a legit Hall of Famer and legit top 15 fighter, but not top 10. Many FNR4 fans are crying out for Marciano...Louis and Gene Tunney are bigger omissions to me to be honest.

I respectfully disagree bro 'bout Marciano NOT being in the top 10.

He had the stamina of 10 men.
                Had Unbelievable power.
" He said of Marciano's right hand power punch, called the "Suzie-Q", "It was one of the most devastating weapons ever brought into a ring."--Bert Sugar
He was relentless in the ring
                Here's a quote from a great Heavyweight

"Joe Louis is the greatest heavyweight champion of all time. Rocky Marciano is second only to Louis. Where do I rate Ali? Somewhere below me. I beat him, and if I could beat him, no doubt Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano could have beaten him."--Joe Frazier
                more quotes:

"Marciano's gloved fists broke blood vessels and bones in LaStarza's arms and elbows. First the arms grew heavy, then they began to ache awfully, then they grew numb. As the relentless battle wore on, LaStarza found it harder and harder to raise his arms, much less jab with them or punch with them. His hands lowered, his defense dissipated, Marciano began to punish him about the head. LaStarza began to take a terrible beating." Bill Libby, "The Story of a Champion."

Re: Any word on more DLC?

I believe Marciano had great power and great stamina. My own CAB for him gives him 96 power in in left hand and 100 in his right with 100 stamina, heart, chin and head/body toughness. He would wear people down, I give him that. However, he didn't beat a decent fighter in their prime. He would have lost to Ali on points and a pre-Spinks Tyson would have beaten him due to referee stoppage. Were it not for Susie-Q he would have lost to Walcott the first time they fought, because he was out-boxed by a much older fighter who happened to get caught by one of the two most famous punches in heavyweight history (the other being Ali's 'phantom' anchor punch against Liston).

Although I don't think he is a top ten heavyweight (all time), he was great. He had the heart and stamina of Holyfield and almost had the power of Tyson and Foreman, without their speed. Were he around today he would be the most dominant light heavy/cruiser weight ever. Marciano vs. Holyfield would be a great fight except someone would die because of all the blunt force trauma dished out. Even against today's heavyweights he'd probably win a championship because of his power, but he'd be out-boxed today by an athletic, smart boxer who could stay out of range. He'd break a few ribs, etc., but he'd finish with a couple losses. I don't think he would have beaten Holmes either, who was a smart and athletic boxer that took punches from Earnie Shavers, the man that made boxing gloves explode.

Marciano is probably the #11 heavyweight all-time in my short list.

I am fairly certain that there will be more DLC. EA got sued and one of the reasons they were sued is because they approached boxers (Berto, Andre Ward, etc.) about being added to the DLC. So expect to see more DLC in the future.

you guys talk about this game/sport with much vigor. But after reading all of the horrid things about gameplay, I'm still on the fence. As a big boxing fan, honestly, guys, should I bother with this game?

Money Mayweather needs to be added to this game but I have a feeling his nickname is the reason he won't be.
