Would you guys want a referee in the game if he was done correct without ........

(FIGHT NIGHT ROUND 5)Would you guys want a referee in the game if he was done correct without getting in your way? After, of course doing these prioritized things.

    1. Fix the glitches spamming, glue feet, spinning.
    2. Make the headbutts and low blows more random - anywhere from being DQ'd the 2nd time to the 5th
    3. Expand the CAB - Haircuts, tattoos, more crazy designs like plaid, heavily tassled, velvet and metallic stripes, names on front, back of waistband and legs. They're all on the front now, not realistic.
    4. Monthly DLC until we get most of the popular boxers we've been screaming out for since the game was released Holyfield, Mayweather, Hopkins, Louis, Dempsey, Norton, Abraham, Williams, Benn, Eubank, Hamed, Froch, Kessler, Walcott, Liston, Bowe, Shavers, Turpin, Pryor, Khan, Moore, Johnson, Holmes, Marciano, Pep, Benitez, Armstrong, Tunney - That's 5 or 6 DLC packs right there , that would keep the game fresh for 6 months if released monthly. Can it really be that hard to reach or sign these guys up in 3 1/2 years.
    5. Fix the weight classes - No one can use Super MW, Light Heavyweight, welterweight on-line the way it's set up now.
    6. Research and add a variety of correct signature punches
    7. Make your fighter get being deselected if the on-line opponent tries the old switcharoo on you
    8. Add tournaments and/or lobbies - I know EA is working on tournaments right now
    9. Unlockables and achievements that actually make legacy mode worth playing
    10. Fix the corner game so it isn't about saving up health and stamina for later. This is so silly

This is like asking, Would you want better graphics...or would you want PBF in the game. THere is a reason why it wasn't added. If they could do it in way thay wouldn't compromise the graphics, it would be great, but thats usually not the case.

One thing I would like to see in this game is adherence to the style you pick at the beginning of Legacy.

The training games, and the stat system in general, are setup so that by the time you get to a certain point, every fighter is the same - nearly maxed in every stat. The beginning styles essentially mean nothing because mastering the training games allows you to raise your stats however you want and with the sheer number of points available, careful work means max stats all the way around.

It takes the intrigue and strategy out of creating, for example, a Paulie Malignaggi-type, because 25 fights in or so all of your attributes are the same. I've played 3 full legacies, and by the end of all 3, I was a superhuman knockout artist/counterpuncher/ring general/sniper all in one guy. I was in the top 2 or 3 in EVERY stat, like being Tyson, Ali, and Foreman all in one body.

Legacy would have alot more replay value if there was no stat progression at all, or something different that had to do with hiring trainers, nutrition, etc.

Does that last post warrant a new thread? If so, I can clean it up and post it.

A ref in the game? If they implement one thats fine...if they dont, thats cool too. Doesn't matter all that much to me.

The way that I remedy high boxer stats is to play a training game, sim the next 2. Rinse and repeat, because when you sim the training you dont get as many points. I usually play one, sim one, or play one and sim two.

That helps towards not having a beast boxer all the time.

No doubt. I suck at most of the games anyway, so unless it's sparring I just sim it. If you stop training altogether do your stats start dropping? If not, you could always just get your fighter the way you like him and only fight from that point on.

That's just lame though. I mean, I know it works, but you shouldn't HAVE to do that.

Yup! Depending on the fighters, the ref can be an integral part of the fight, more so than any other sport. It's a must IMO.
