    my suggestion

k guys tell me what you think -

preface - this game has grown on me and I am enjoying it. weird thing is initially I didn't care for it all that much but now I dig it.

My biggest beef has been with the knockdowns / knockouts - I want to see a guy get laid out flat once in a while (just like in the real fights) with no hope of getting up.

So here's my suggestion - in reference to the knock down mini game - how about adding some randomness to how hard it is to get up?? it's pretty simple - if im playing a guy and get knocked down early - it's always so easy to get up on the first one. .. .soooo once in a while have it very difficult on the first time - like how difficult it would be on the 3rd or 4th- except make it for the first time?

Is this so unattainable? I think it would add a new dimension and replay value - image a knockout on the first or second knockdown ? that would be sweet -

for the record I know you can end it on 2 knockdowns or even 1 late in the fight - but I'd like to see it happen early too once in a while.

PS - some devastating knock out animations would be much appreciated too - for the ones you just know the computer/your opponent wont be recovering from

    thoughts?

if you look a little further down in the best fights/moments thread you'll see I've done it onilne. Basically opponent threw a haymaker that missed and opened the counter window when I threw my haymaker uppercut and it hit him square. He tried to get up but could'nt. it was early in the fight and we both had 0 knockdowns.

I will say though I haven't seen it since.

so it can happen - I've fought quite a few fights (at least 100+) and have never seen it - this is why I was all hyped up for Tyson cause this is what he is famous for - some fighters it should be more common for - I will check that out and thanks for the reply

This is also my biggest fault with the game. I figured with Tyson in the game this time that this would be fixed but nope, it's always knockdown after knockdown after knockdown. You really don't get that feeling of anything can happen at anytime like real boxing gives you.

Possible, but extremely rare. After probably 200+ fights, I had a match Tyson vs W. Klitschko. Klitschko started off by pawing his jab, I was just moving around and I slipped a jab and bam one punch KO with a straight right by Tyson.

          Punch stats for the match
          W. Klitschko 2/8
          M. Tyson 1/1 (won on the first punch, it was shocking)

Yeah possible but it really seems like the planets have to align to see it.

agreed - so I proposed a very simple fix - now does EA read these boards or do you guys have a contact over there that we can bounce ideas off of - I truly believe this one simple change would make the experience so much more fun and real
