Does anyone believe that EA actually listens to their game testers?
cause i certainly do not.if they did they would have so many exploits left in the game.it seemed that every month after the games release there was a new exploit!!I pray that before they release rd 5 they test it completely.i know that some bugs wil slip through, they always do.but rd4 was just ridiculous.glue feet, body spamming, hyper punching, the list goes on&on.how could stuff like that get throught testing?i dont think it did i just thing ea ignored it and that is unacceptableTags: None -

I don't think they have game testers. If they do they are probably mutated blind chimps. I wonder if there were testers, were they boxing fans or Street Fighter fans. EA needs to do a better search for game testers.
I'm pretty sure Madden game testers are football fans. It really puzzles me on how a game that is suppose to represent a sport have so many flaws in that aspect.
EA always gives the Fight Night series the back door treatment. All of EA other sports games get favorable treatment. They have so many resources for some games that they can make side projects that may not be successful.. Madden arcade, Madden Facebook, etc.Poe is an advocate for realistic boxing videogames. -

Im with you i wish they would give us opportunities to play test this game in development..
What would also be great but just a pipe dream.. totally doable.. but wont haappen.. Is a Bi-weekly or weekly blog on the efforts of development for FNR5 so we can give them realtime feedback.. and there can be a true..partnership with the fans at large.Comment

Re: Does anyone believe that EA actually listens to their game testers?
Most likely their testers are non-professionals that took the job to just play games every day. I knew a guy that was a tester for a company. And he said all they do is sit around, drink pop and eat chips. They report on so many issues, or the ones that are deemed "important". The others get pushed aside as a "oops". The pay is very little as well. It's cheap labor so they could say "yes, we tested it".
I've worked with devs on designing applications for companies. The testing is very comprehensive. One could say, "well, EA is on a timeframe"...well, so were we, but we still tested everything and fixed a majority of the issues on time.
If glaring issues make it through "testing", there is something seriously wrong. If players are freezing on the ice all too often, sim results are wrong, or boxer stamina system is not working, those are issues that should have been addressed PRE release. I understand if trunk colors are wrong, because those don't affect gameplay. But glaring issues that make it through are just a sign of laziness and cutting corners.Comment
