When he does that to either Wladimir or Vitali then I'll be impressed.

Speaking of Ruiz, how in the hell does that guy keep getting title shots? Does he have some sort of video of the WBA president in a compromising position or something.

Imagine my surprise, when the fight was still going in the 9th round.

It is the Don King/Sauerland WBA circle jerk (Valuev, Ruiz, Chagaev, and Haye).

Great fight...really entertaining. Good job by Haye..his speed has translated more than his power to heavy, but he still gets hit way too much. Regardless, I am and always will be a fan.

On a side note, his belt is meaningless as Wlad already defeated the true WBA champion in Chagaev.

Was not impressed with Haye at all and he is out of his mind if he thinks he can beat Vitali...Vitali is simply too big, too smart and too seasoned a boxer for Haye...He will outclass Haye in every sense of the word...

Haye is a very promising HW but he is way too raw right now to get in the ring with Vitali and it showed tonight...It seemed at times when Haye couldn't put Ruiz down after rocking him, he didn't even know what to do next...His footwork worries me, at times he's smooth and at others he seems off balance...He also ate too many jabs from Ruiz and anybody whose watched either Klit fight knows that's not good...

He's got a punchers chance against Wlad like everyone else and that's it...I don't think he'll be able to do it though, Wlad maybe one dimensional but he can box to his strengths very well and his strengths will be hard for Haye to overcome especially that jab...

Were we watching the same fight?
Ruiz hit haye with some jabs but that's about it. I don't think I've ever seen a boxing match where the winning boxer doesn't get hit. Well... Except the last haye fight, Valuev couldn't land.

But back tothis fight, Haye dominated from the start, and dropped him in the first. Ruiz kept coming at him like a freight train. Haye kept his hands down the whole fight and dodged impressively.
He's not going to fight the Klitschkos the same way.
It was an exciting fight, he showed true power, and IMO he's the fastest heavyweight, with crazy power.

Haye stopped him in the 9th, no the 6th. But it was impressive. Haye hurt Ruiz badly in the opening round, knocking him down twice, once with a rabbit punch.

Still Haye looked impressive and looks like the most skilled heavyweight out there. A fight with the Klitschkos would be interesting. If Hopkins moves up to Heavyweight, Haye could seriously hurt Bernard.

Yeah that was a good one. He's probably right, too. Haye has charisma and is a good boxer. Should be interesting to see who he fights next.

                          Quick question.

Is Wlad or Vitali faster than Ruiz?

I personally think Ruiz has faster hands.

He may have charisma, but when it came down to fighting the best two guys in the division,Haye didn't want any part of it. I know he had a fight signed with one of the K-Brothers,but he pulled out due to an "injury."

Not long after that he signed to fight the 7 footer(whatever his name is)

He wanted to re-schedule but Wlad didn't want to. Haye will fight the Klitschkos, he calls them out every chance he gets.
