      Grown man.

I notice he said he could have got the best of Frankie Randall but he didn't say that about Sweat Pea.

        yea with whip cream...

great video. Its a shame that casual fans and people that don't know enough about boxing most likely don't see a video interview like this to see how the guy truely is. You can see how different he is from his character, how good he is to talk to, you see the real Floyd. He even says that Roger, Floyd Sr & himself... those are characters on 24/7 because thats what people want to see.

He is also right about his country not having his back. All of the boxing critics talk about how boxing is dead because there is no great American heavyweight fighter to get behind but the truth is the smaller guys are the more entertaining fights and Floyd is someone people should root for over someone like Pacquiao. But the problem with that is Manny is a humble, good guy so people like him and Floyd plays the villian role because good guy vs bad guy always sells more so people don't like to root for the villian.

Also, hearing him elaborate more on what he means when he says he's the greatest, he's right. Everyone says Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest, or people say Ali is the greatest, well Floyd is the greatest of this generation. We can't compare him to some of those guys because they will never fight so you really don't know who would win (not to mention they all arent in the same weight class) so really he's saying he can only compare himself to his generation and he's the greatest so why shouldnt he be mentioned with guys like Robinson or Ali.

IF he beats Manny, then i wont ever say anything about FLoyd again in a negative manner, but the dude hasnt knocked anyone out in a while. Hatton doesnt count. Sorry, but that dude was never a top tier opponent.

I know he's a defensive fighter, but if you cant go on the attack and take folks out once in a while, then from me you get a no dice.

People dont have his back because of the BS he spews out and the **** he has done on youtube. I have no issues with people talking crap, but when you talk about money this, luxury this, so boring, thats what imo, killed rap. Yes, i consider it dead now. My opinion. Dont have to agree with it.

He doesn't knock more opponents out because his opponent stop throwing punches and try to survive. He is a defensive fighter/counter puncher. He control tempo not with his jab but with his counter punching. I notice how he was able to slow the pace of the fight with Mosley because Mosley became tentative and stop throwing punches.

well said, but people who don't like him are not trying to see boxing...they looking at Floyd...it's shameful because they are not boxing fans, they are boxer fans.

kcxiv, knocking someone out doesn't prove a boxers worth. I know alot of boxers who are bums with many KO's.

He doesn't look for the KO, that's why. Floyd sticks to his game plan, and if the KO comes, it comes. I feel like if he decided to just open up on his opponent while they were hurt, the ref would come in and stop the fight. If u look at Floyd's last fights in which he was awarded a KO, nearly all of them were TKOs. So yeah, he's not a one punch KO artist, but I feel like he could have gotten the TKO if he really tried.

                    Truth.
Folks forget about Whitaker. I had to post this because his skills need to shared for those who don't know how great he was. Sweet Pea was nice. Like FM, Sweet Pea was under appreciated because he wasn't knocking heads off shoulders. But whooping @$$ and embarrassing your opponent for 12 rounds is just as effective. Ask Julio Cesar Chavez. He knows he lost that fight.

Sweat Pea is my favorite boxer of all time. I don't understand how "fans" don't love defensive boxing, the ability to stand in front of your opponent and make him consistently miss.

Max Kellerman use to say an offensive boxers are usually overrated. See Pac.

A good defensive fighter will usually beat a good offensive fighter. PBF vs Pac

Thanks for the vid. I would have loved to see Sweat Pea and PBF in the ring. My pick is Sweat Pea because he had a very underrated body attack.
