Is this game worth the purchase or should I just stick to my UFC game?

Yes. Though there are glaring faults in this game (counter window, career, lack of jab impact, etc...), it is still one of the best sports game ever and easily the best boxing/mma/realistic fighting game of all-time. EA MMA will probably unseat Fight Night from that mantle though this fall.

I think it is. I still play this game several times a week and enjoy it. There are some things lacking. In particular, the online can be very frustrating. They never did fix stamina and a fighter's ability to throw well over 100 punches a round with little fatigue.

It's a fun game though. I'd say it's probably my favorite game for this generation of consoles.

Personally I think that it's so full of exploits that if you're used to playing UFC you'll be sorely disappointed.

Additionally if you happen to be using the PS3 the chances are that you'll hardly ever complete an online match as it will disconnect all the time!
