I will at the least create the top 10 guys in each division ranked by Ring Magazine. I'm really concerned on creating accurate stats and attributes.

I want as many as possible, but only if they say the correct name. I was appalled in FN round 4, that Williams wasn't a name.

With all the focus on the Prizefighter II story mode, I bet they didn't even touch the names database.

That's an excellent question fist. I'd love to hear if they expanded their name DB.
I'm tired of hearing "Kid Quick" throws a hook.
It's 2011. There should be a plethora of names that can be used so we can actually her Teddy say "Jackson" or "Smith" or "Phil".

I'm to the point I'd take back Big Tigger if there was a proper name database.

Nothing worse than 2 guys called the "Assassin" boxing eachother. The Assassin lands a shot to the head...The Assassin is about to go down....The Assassin blah, blah, blah.....

Which Assassin are they talking about?

LOL "You don't have to go home, but you gotta get the hell outta here."

Besides that, Big Tigger was a Chris Rock sounding wash out as far as the game.

After seeing the video's - for the first time I'm going to do whole careers with the commentary off. It's atrocious. Teddy's fine, but Joe just sounds weird. He even sound tired. There are video's posted with both, and It's just better without imo. It's slow and void of emotion and hype.

                      lol @ the assassin thing

But to the original question I'll take as many well made boxers as I can get past and present. Sometimes there just aren't any though unfortunately. The way they changed the graphics imo made it harder - for example I made a picture perfect klitchko in rd3, but it was just impossible in round 4. The main thing is that they appear in the career mode if I want them to which is the biggest and best reason imo for creating a bunch of boxers or importing them since I'd only actually play AS a handful of them. For example I'd Arthur Abraham in the game, but only so I can smash him with Kessler. And if I'm doing a career as myself at 155-165lbs neighbourhood let's say, I want the rankings to be riddled with real boxers past and present; sugar ray robinson, oscar de la hoya, bute, froch, dirrell, calzaghe, pavlik, martinez, mayorga, lomatta, hearns, ward and so on.

it would be cool to customize the experience to be able to have a career like srr or mayweather lol.

At some point for career we need to get away from starting slow and crappy and improving handspeed and power - it's just so frustrating. An interesting thought for career difficulty would be starting with different genetic presets - so on hard you're power and handspeed are 72 or something and you obviously have to be a better boxer and rely on timing, where easy you're speed and power are like 92, and because of your gifts you can maybe get away with a little more.

The way sports games are now, don't make any sense.

Honestly the way you start a career should be a crap shoot. Like Dungeons and Dragons, you roll the dice and that's what you start off with. You could get a Tyson like guy with super KO ability right out of the gate or you could have a guy with very little power. Then have a hidden potential for each category by doing the proper training, you may or may not be able to significantly improve KO Power, hand speed, etc.

It would add alot of replayability because you wouldn't know until fairly deep in your career if the your boxer could be one of the greatest or not.

I look a Cotto, he was rising on the fast track and then just leveled off. I look at Manny and see how he continually improved later in his career to become P4P greatest. Performance enhancing jokes aside, I think it would be great to have your career shrouded in this type of Mystery as to if your boxer could ascend to the highest levels.

Emphatic Yes to everything you said. One of my favorite sports games of all time was one of the Triple Play baseball games on Genesis(forgot which one). When you created your player he was randomly assigned stats. I created a pitcher and he just happened to have a 100 mph fastball. It was thrilling, i loved that. No other sports game has done that since.

Boxing games especially need to have this. They need to also add POTENTIAL and DISCIPLINE as ratings in Fight Night.

In FN4 legacy, I placed a bunch of downloaded boxers in my career. And it was great watching them rise and fall in the rankings. But since it takes soo damn long to build your boxer up; by the time i got anywhere near the top 10, they pretty much all retired.

                              Sucked big time.
