I had reservations about picking up my pre-order after reading Phobia's posts and almost cancelled when I read EA knew sliders were broken and don't plan on fixing them but I just couldn't help myself and am glad I did. Punch totals are still aggravating but the boxing is actually pretty good.

I am not up on how this whole online gym thing works. I noticed that you said something about starting in middleweight. Does that mean that I need to make my Legacy boxer a Middleweight? The one I have right now is a Light Heavyweight but I can change him if I need to.

Nice sparring match last night bro. I can tell I've got some work to do on my cab and my skills. Excited for the gym though. Think it's gonna be a very cool feature. Especially with os guys.should be some good sim bouts. See you guys online.

I'll add you and dogslax. I haven't had time to create my fighter, but it seems like you can upload a lightweight, a middleweight, and a heavyweight.

I think we should start off with middleweights first, so that we can all fight / spar each other online. In the future, we can each have a fighter in each weight class if everyone's cool with that. That way we can fight in different tournaments / seasons.

How about next weekend? Let's give people some time to build up their fighters. We'll start off with a middleweight season.

been sparring with some of the members and saving up my XP

in my opinion.. anytime you get a spar request, take it.. win or lose you get XP and just save it up and use it all at once

there *IS* a huge difference between a 1 or 2 point ovr so if it's OWC and you get beat that's why.. not saying the higher ovr will always win as I myself am 83 and got beat by a 79 due to my impatience and inability to find a way to stop being countered when i'm pressing the attack

oh well but yeah, spar save up xp and if you go to OWC only fight similarly ovr fighters.. 1 ovr difference max imo

that was me. you kick my bum all over the place! I needed the payday, erm, I mean points. I have no power in my punches. DO NOT select counter puncher as an AI type. Jabs, straights and uppercuts are cheap but you pay 400+ for every point on a hook. On top of that your block and chin are at about 3 to start.

I don't like to throw a lot of uppercuts, so it stink on that. The best one for hook is brawler, but you pay through the nose for a jab/cross.

I honestly don't even remember what my guy is anymore.. haha! I do remember losing to a 79 owc because I simply kept walking in and he kept backing up.. so I'd throw a jab trying to close the distance and he'd counter and those are always counted as power shots

he won it by decision i think he won EVERY single round for 10 rounds.. lol it was highly frustrating, all he did was back up and im the one who kept going forward

but yeah, sparring is fun.. it doesn't count for your record and win/lose you get XP points.. I'm saving up xp points to get skills in a bunch

also play some legacy offline.. they unlock Athletic boosts which you can use for your boxer growth
