Thanks for trying Phobia, but I realize you can only say so much and the developers can only adjust so much. Take care and see you online when I get it.

If you've downloaded the latest one from Feb 9th, it rolled back the tuner to the default settings.

The 1st tuner that was put out dealt with stamina and making each punch more powerful.

      PROS:
-Long term stamina drained quicker as you could start seeing slowdown towards the end of the 3rd round if the boxer had a ridiculously high output.

      CONS:
-The increase to punch damage seemed to make flash knockouts way too common
-Short term stamina bar still refilled too quickly

It's hard to really gauge the tuner's effectiveness in a 3 round fight, as you would have needed to see how fighter health held up over a full fight.

        in case you didn't know...

camera zoom on counters and flash on landed counters can be turned off in the menus on the retail game by switching to simulation presentation. This has been said several times in the past 2 months by the devs.

Yea i used "simulation presentation" the entire time I was there. Pair that with "wide" camera and you got a great looking experience. But I still believe it needs to be removed completely. It supplies nothing to the gameplay and all it does is link you to arcade elements. So why is it even there to begin with, is this "In the game" on TV and I just never noticed

I'll say it again. I do not like the demo's camera angle. They just have to many "blind perspective spots". There are actually times I'll wait for a good angle before I attack or use any defensive move other then backing up.

I have my concerns also about the KO's. It's very hard to say if it's good now or not. I think we should all wait till we have the game in hand AND have 12 full rounds to get work in. It's very difficult to judge the game when trying to get work in in 3 rounds. I mean by round 3 somebody is going to feel desperate. They should have gave at least 6 rounds. I don't know who makes these decisions but they are dumb ones. 3 rounds?!?!? For most of us here I don't think it's going to matter if the KO juice is a little higher than what we perceive because we're not going to put ourselves out there to taste it knowing we have 12 full ones to work with. Furthermore , knowing that the early KO is possible is going to get a lot of clowns trying to end fights early exposing the hell outta themselves.

The one punch KO's will probably ruin this game.

I 1 punch KO'd Tyson with Ali within the first minute of the 1st round with a body punch.

I've been 1 punch KO'd in the first knockdown at least twice in fights that i was dominating, by punches that didn't even land.

I think "ruin" is a strong word, but they def need tweaking. Offline I'll be able to neuter it a bit by editing existing boxer's punch ratings. From the demo I can tell there are gonna be too many 20's given out for punch ratings. Ali and Pacquiao in particular already need to be nerfed. Only true knockout artists deserve 20 rated punches. Ali and welterweight Pac's 20 rated punches should be dropped to 19. I'm also of the opinion that no one's jab should be a 20 (capable of ending a fight).

I don't think the one punch KO should ruin this game. A boxer that is capable of a one punch KO should be able to KO his opponent if he's not defending or protecting himself correctly. The One punch KO is suppose to give boxers that since of being able to get KO'd at anytime.

The think with Fight Night Champion all boxers seem to be able to one punch KO you. Ali should be able to Flash knock you down because of his speed. He should be be able to KO certain boxers in later rounds. I think Ali punching power is too high. Ali should have that tattoo you type punches. The one's that bust you over the course of a match.

I agree with you for the most part, but you think Ali should have fight-ending ability at anytime? Out of all his legitimate opponents, who was he able to stop early, besides Liston who a lot of people agree threw that fight?

No, I don't think Ali should be able to KO an elite opponent at anytime, but he should be able to beat them up badly to get the TKO.

that's why I say his 20 rated punches should be lowered to 19's at least. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been finished with 1 punch by Ali as both boxers in the demo. I've actually been one punch KO'ed by a power modified jab...

One punch KO is a way over the top with pacman. But, Cotto on the other hand is like the equivalent of throwing a nurf ball at someones face. Like a cool breeze hitting your face after a shower.. lol.

I can't tell how many times I dominated a fight with cotto, in every way.. power counters, jabs, body work.. only to get hit.. in the back of the head.. not even a clean shot.. KO. Bvll$hit. And what's worse, in the demo you can't win ever if you are KO'd. One round is a token round given to the opponent.

                              EA.. FIX IT MAN

If EA actually invested into testers, they wouldn't need to tweak a DEMO. Honestly, this makes me nervous if even the DEMO needs major tweaking and the game hasn't even been released yet.
