Whats up with the pre-order shenanigans?

I noticed that separate places are offering separate bonus items.

Gamestop is giving out extra Everlast gear and Online Boosts.
Best Buy, you get the young George Foreman download.

I hate it when companies do this. Will I be able to get a Young George Foreman if I don't pre-order it from Best Buy?

I want all boxers, gears and features to be available to me even if they cost me a few extra $$. What I don't want is the only way to ever get something is if I pre-order it from multiple places.

The Total War series did this for Napoleon Total War. You could only get the Scots Greys if you pre-ordered from Amazon. Well, I got mine at Gamestop and am Still waiting to charge the French with some Scots Greys. They have never been made available to download to the public.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get em as regular downloads for a couple of bucks later on. Maybe even for free. They'll be available one way or the other.

You can often buy the codes on eBay.

Yeah, pre-order exclusives suck but there is nothing you can do about them so why stress?

EA said somewhere on their forum or twitter that these are pre-order exclusives so unless you buy two copies or buy a code on ebay you can only have one. I'd recommend young Foreman because an extra boxer is better than an extra pair of gloves and shoes.

The XP boost is a one-time deal so it is the equivalent of someone getting an X amount of hours head start in their online legacy mode career. After a few days this head start will disappear.

they still haven't made hershel available on EA MMA so I wouldn't count on them putting it out later
