Players on the Demo are still resorting to the same lame tactics that where in FN4 lol (YOU KNOW WHO U R); of course one my favorites that players spammed was the torso twist, I call the EXORCIST twist myself, then how can I forget about the spamming from the weave, I call that particular one the SPAMMER DIP. If I have forgotten some then please remind me lol.
Now back to the demo. I've been playing the demo feverishly so I can get the feel of the game. At first it was kool everybody , (well most people) are adjusting good to the demo's newness. I mean I was really getting some good fights in the first week of play. I play yesterday and notice allot of the player are spamming the hell out of the LOW BODY JAB and it was working, even in the midst of me throwing uppercuts and hooks while they where spamming the jab to my body, and I was the one losing the battle WTH??? It just Never fails with some of these guys they always need to find a gimmick or a trick in the game and beat the hell out of it. I ask WHY??
Why can't players play the game the way its meant to be played. When players play like that it just tell me you don't really know how to play so you have to resort to LAME game play. But luckily this yrs version does a pretty good job of counter acting spamming and you can make proper adjustments for FOOLERY like that. It took me a couple of fights to get it, so now I know how to play against it and win
EA does need to do something about that tho. I mean C'MON SON, I was uppercutting and hooking this DUDE like crazy while he was spamming his girly JABS to the body. If EA sports is so called "IN THE GAME" that would not fly in a real fight C'MON SON!

Thats funny you mentioned. I just ran across a player doing that yesterday also ( the body jab spam). Looks like them boys trying to figure out a spam tactic. It actually was working for him for a sec there. I had to adjust.

I've also run across the fellas trying that body rotation **** too. They're going to find that it actually doesn't work in this version. I'm bracing myself for them to figure out the body jab spam and resort to that. Unfortunately, they're going to find that it doesn't work either lol.

I'm having a great time to say the least.

Had a silly match the other day. Guy comes out with tyson throwing constant heavy modifiers. So I back up and the guy is still throwing punches relentlessly, and continues to do so until tyson is just exhausted. I start attacking with a lil jab and hook here and there just stingin his ***. All of a sudden tyson just stops moving all together. You know the rest "Connection to your opponent has been lost" lol.

I'm running these dudes off. Its great. I typed afterwards "you know this is boxing and not super street fighter right"?. Love it.

Lol thats why I like this version, all the spammers I feel will be non existence in FNC, which is a breath of fresh air coming from FN4. Its funny when you out box them and they cant do there spamming that there used from FN4, you feel them getting frustrated in the ring because they just start winging punches in the air or they lay against the ropes and try and regroup lol.. then they message telling me I'm girl or some ignorant stuff like that because I won't jus sit in the middle of the ring and blood it out.. I hit them back and tell'em bra don't be mad because you got out boxed/outclassed, this a boxing game not a tuff man contest lol

The lung body jab/cross is actually something I just picked up, but I don't do it much; you get killed going to the body in FNC because ur stationary when you body punch now and you get murdered. With Tyson vs Ali I have no choice. Get in and get out, wear him out.

i can see alot of spammers not liking the retail version. because their old tactics don't work for a full fight. in a 6-10 round fight most spammers will be knocked out. my biggest fear will be a tuner in the direction of the spammers. I think once they handle the punch accuracy their will be alot of people calling this game garbage, even against the cpu. its a great start once they get footwork and clinching down in future installments a great game is in the making.

I just fought my first jab spammer. I see now what you mean. While getting nailed in the head by Tyson power uppercuts some fool with Ali would throw 7 or 8 jabs to the gut. My stamina would drain down quick. That guy threw 200 jabs and 425 punches. 1-armed spamming and body spamming is baaaaaaaack.
