Raise block strength! In the demo after three or so punches your block is compromised. A compromised guard effects all three because with a higher connect rate you have a lower stamina loss. That encourages high punch volumes and the current online rage, the job/straight body spam. Somehow these cats can get off 5-7 jabs or straights to the gut in about 2-3 seconds, which wear down the guard and start to drain stamina at a very precipitous rate. The should raise the block strength by double.

Actually, there is another thing, raise punch power by 20-25% and tie it to stamina. It would give jabs a little more umph and not every fight will look like LaMotta-Sugar Ray VI (LaMotta was standing at end after taking many head shots the 11th and 12th - fight was stopped, thankfully). Many times guys will wail away at the body and take hooks at uppercuts to the head and the guy body punching ends up the winner of the exchange.

Online if they would do these two thing it would greatly improve the gameplay experience, in my opinion.

I see what your saying, but i still think it goes back to punch accuracy, punch response increase. if someone was jabbing at the body and you knock them around with some good punches to the dome. the punch response increase would stop them in their tracks. make them think twice bout spamming the body.

I don't even think it's Block Strength, the ineffectiveness of blocking is tied to the REFLEXES attribute. But I agree, too many punches find there way thru your guard. Also agree about the damage, they tweaked this with the tuner but without the HUD health bars turned on we cant tell for sure if it helped.

Like someone else said Stamina, mainly shortterm is what needs the biggest overhaul, it recharges too quickly allowing you to throw too many strong effective punches in too short of a time.
