    Career Mode/Story Mode

    I haven't followed this too much, but is there a different career mode where you don't have to follow the story, or are they all the same?

      From what I've read the Champions Mode is the same everytime you play it.
      There's a Legacy mode is that more of your traditional sort; fight, train, distribute points, advance up the rankings....repeat.

          Thank you. Champions Mode isn't what I am interested in. I am interested in Legacy mode.

              Read some of the early reviews out there. It sounds like the Legacy Mode is fairly shallow like it was last year. They've added a few new twists but so far the consensus is that it's very repetitive and was barely worked on over the past 2 years.

                  I am really surprised they didn't learn from Don Kings "Prize Fighter". Branching paths would have added longevity. Now, I am assuming if you lose you just get a redo.

                      I was disappointed to find out the only 'addition" to legacy mde is a currancy system and thats about it really, near as i can tell.


                      I wouldnt NOT try CHampion mode honestly, about 8 of my close friends thus far have said its very well done for the most part and worth a look. Its only about 6hrs total so a boat load of time isnt needed.

                          Yeah, kind of disappointed they didnt make legacy mode less repetitive. Champion Mode was pretty nice. I whipped thru it in 2 and a hald hours on amature, just to see the story. I was pleased with it. Now I wish there were more than one story, or multiple ways of playing it, like Heavy Rain or something.

                          Maybe I'll actually play online this year...yikes, i dunno about that.

                              Online should be pretty good, well , is pretty good to me this year. So far whatever cheese is hasn't been discovered and somewhat real boxing prevails. At least patience prevails. Every fight I've been in so far if the opponent starts out rock'em sock'em he quickly realizes that it ain't gonna work and tries some form of boxing the rest of the way through until they get desperate and forget.

                                  That sounds promising. Never played online boxing yet. Been to scared, because even though I can beat Tyson and Ali on G.O.A.T. I can still lose to my friend who has never played the damn game before.

                                  Figured I'd get some practice in before I try it, but yeah, I think this is the year. Try to get some of those online achievements.
