FNC has same issues at launch as FNR4...ugh.

It's sad. Freezing online, freezing in legacy mode, and one I really, really don't understand - uber high connect rates, online and off. With auto-block it should give more defensive minded fighters a chance, but once again blocking means nothing. He who throws the most punches usually wins. Online stamina is still somewhat of a joke, depending on the mode you are in. And then in legacy the sliders don't all work, so offline is relegated to some of the same stamina and connect rate issues.

The gameplay mechanics are better, but a new car is better than an old car - except if this was a car there would be a recall!

Don't misunderstand me, I am not saying the game is all bad, but with almost two years to get things tweaked they rush out a broken game with few working sliders. The one feature that had me wanting the game - online gym - is useless as there are no slider options anymore.

All I can say is Oy! Does anyone else feel this way? I know these guys are trying to fix things, but I don't want to buy this (rented) unless some of the above, if not all is fixed.

you know though act in OS we get so caught up in what's not working or not up to snuff we lose focus and just don't play for fun. it gets so serious around here when stuff doesn't work right like we are programmers ourselves we lose why we like to play games in the first place. Even with those things wrong if you fix what you can its a fun game. I put my sliders down to zero for stamina , cpu output and something else. and at least in the beginning of my legacy its fun cpu isn't throwing or landing alot we are about the same. I wish fatigue and stamina was better for the cpu, but overall its a fun game.

Sadly, the boxers in legacy almost all act the same. Constantly charging in, and spamming punches. Sucks, but I could swallow it better if they couldnt throw 80+ punches a round and still have 100% stamina in round 8. This is with stamina maces, default, and zero. I realize sliders are broken, and I know they might get fixed - but when? And why should I give another $60 for a game that is broke (yes, broken) out of the box.

I love boxing, boxing games, and this series. I beat champion mode the second day, and enjoyed it. But there is too much either not fixed, or not improved enough for me to justify the two year development.

Gamestop is offering extra 50% on trades, or atleast they were. If the price is right I'm turning this one in. I'll not spend a other summer "trying" to get the game to play right.

I agree Hova, it is a fun game, but so was FNR4. The freezing is back again, which is irritating, especially since I don't have the time to play like I used to (5 month old, thank you Lord) and on top of that I enjoy legacy, but I'd enjoy it more if the sliders worked better. To get a more authentic experience I'd need to edit each boxers tendencies and stamina ratings, and that's something else I don't have time for.

I think I just fell into the EA trap again and I am fed up. Maybe they could have delayed release for a little while, I dunno.

I will say one thing...for once a jab matters! Huah!

I agree. Fed up is how I feel as well. Just FYI, called gamestop and they are giving a whopping 17 bucks... Plus the 50%... which still isn't enough for me to relinquish my hold on the game... So heres hoping for quick effective punching... Err patching.

                  I'll pay 40.

I have to say my last three HW OWC fights I won because they wore themselves out and in each fight I landed about 100 counters. I won them all by KO in the late rounds. With the XP I finally have a level 6 jab and straight.
