    C'MON SON!

First off I'm really enjoying this game.. I don't really have any real complaints on it, I only wish that they would fix the jab/cross spam to the body ... My issue is with the players online. Why does everybody have to pick the same boxers?!!? I.e... Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar ray leonard, Pac man.. It sucks because I would luv to use the other boxers that are made, and have a good fight/Match up. Sergio Mora, Vargas, lamotta, and some of the new fighters that EA brought in too. But I can't because some player who is afraid to lose picks the best ratings boxers in the game. When you guys do this all it tells me is that your really not that skilled. I give major props to a player who picks some one like mora or WInky, etc etc.. all those other guys are talented too otherwise they wouldn't be in the game.I'm tired of having to always pick Surgar Ray, cuz the other player wants to pick the best boxer in the game or they'll pick Leonard so I have to pick Robinson in return.. oh yea lets not forget pac man either. And don't give me the lame excuse on the reason you guys pick these guys is because you genuinely like the boxer, yea right! Besides Pac Man, Leonard and Robinson where not in our generation, so how could you really be a fan of those boxers? Its simply because you know that Ronbinson, leoarnard, pac man are the best so you hide behind them.( I only use this weight class as an example because its my favorite DIV I'm sure this happens in the other classes too). This is exactly what happend in EA sports MMA, everybody picked FEDOR. I'm jus saying guys take a chance on the other boxers, U might be pleasantly surprised. I know theres somebody else out there that feels me on this.

It is like that for every sports game. 97% of people online will ALWAYS pick the person or team with the best ratings. That is the reason why I stopped playing sports games online years ago.

Yet those same guys picking only 1 or 2 fighters online will complain about EA not putting in every boxer.

That's why since FN Rnd3 I play unranked. My record was something like 21-9 in RND3, RND4 was so cheap I didn't even bother.

For some reason in FNC the make it harder for you to find unranked fights.

I just want to have good battles, I don't want to worry about getting cheesed to death, and I like the challenge of using underdog fighters. If any of you guys want to have some good fight's just to experiment with the boxers. That's what I'm all about. We can exchange GT's.

Yeah, my best fight online in FNR4 was Emanuel Augustus vs. Malinaggi, who was used by PappyKnuckles. That why I like the levelling up online when it's legit, yo are building a fighter to your style, training if you will. The thing is the same people that are cheap online are cheap in life most of the time and care less about doing things right, only right now.

My psn is steelersnut would love to spar with you bra. Its funny man, there so blatant with it too. For example I'll pick Vargas(hes my all time favorite boxer) his rating is 86, they'll scroll through acting like there trying to find someone to match up lol but then they go directly for sugar ray leanord or Robinson Or you know what else I like lol is the player who acts like there picking a light weight (pac man) and soon as you pick a light weight they'll jump off there pick to try and catch you in a miss match and pick Leanord or robinson lol thats the oldest trick in the book lol this dude named chris_brown89 tried it he was unsuccessful lol what a dush lol

Yeah, not a surprise at all. When the majority that play are under 20, and they want to brag to their friends about how great a record they have, this is one of the inevitable results. That is why every sports game should have a random team/fighter mode. That way it would attract those that truly want to be challenged.

I saw in the PSN store that you could actually buy XP. Really? That is video game blasphemy.

That was a very memorable match. I wish Malinaggi was in FNC too because I miss putting in work with him. It's fun when you fight someone who doesn't necessarily pick the best rated guys.

To clarify: the big names I use are some of my favorite boxers. Roy Jones, Leonard, Whitaker, Hagler are all guys I grew up watching. I never pick Robinson. I never go by ratings. I pick guys I like!

I'll take your word for it, but these guys are all highly rated.

I'm 20-12 ranked using Monzon (89) and Pavlik (86)in all but 4 fights (2 with Vargas, 1 with Manfreddy and a throwaway fight using Liston against Ali). In those 28 fights (19-9) using middleweights Monzon and Pavlik I've only faced two sub 90 boxers (Jermaine Taylor and Jake Lamotta). Half the time it's Sugar Ray Robinson, the other half it's either Sugar Ray Leonard, Hagler and or Tommy Hearns.

Why doesn't EA just put in a rating limit in the match search? For example type in an 87 and your fighter can't exceed an 87 rating.

They really need more weight classes online. The difference in power betweet a guy 160 & one 140 seems pretty big. I had Holt against Bishop & I was totally outboxing him. However, he hurt me everytime he landed a good shot. You need welterweights & light heavyweight classes.
At the very least, there should be a final approval once boxers are selected. I see a guy pick Judah so I pick Cotto. Then he switches off & picks Hagler. I pick then he picks & then a prompt could say "agree to match?" That way you know what you're getting into.
