Yep he landed more punches, appeared to be busier. Worked off his jab/straight (the old 1-2) more/better. His connect % was lower but based off those stats not seeing any vids he was busier and would've won on my score card.

I guess I should note (since you can't actually watch) that Irish Spring was backing up and running all fight and not initiating the contact. He would sit back and not do anything

You can't judge a fight by stats. It doesn't take into account ring generalship or clean effective punching or the clash of styles. Sometimes in a close round a punch that stuns the opponent or lands clean can swing a round, which wouldn't show up in the stats. The stats screens are great to look into further detail as to what happened at some of the close rounds on the cards, but without seeing the footage, it's hard to judge the fight. I like the idea of judging each others fights though. This game has some technical flaws, but it's a good engine and after editing a few boxers, I've found it pretty good. The CPU a.i. has impressed me for the most part. And the tendencies seem to work at least to some extent.

In this fight, I bet that you could've finished the guy if you went upstairs more. Round after round I see damage to his torso but nothing to the head. Traditionally it's hard to KO a guy to the body. You basically have to land that perfect liver shot. But you see time and time again, a well placed or even lucky punch to the chin or temple can end a fight quick.

Rounds 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 3, 2, and 1 show no coloration to the head. Stamina isn't great in this game so I wouldn't rely soley on body work to finish guys off. It's good to change the pace and get them to drop their hands for head shots IMHO.

KB would of won on my scorecard. Throwing a bunch of garbage (you can tell by the low connect numbers) would not get you a 'W' in my world. Agressive aka button mashers get the benefit of the doubt in this game. I'd admire your discipline level of not getting sucked in because I normally get frustrated and start 'swinging back'. I hate slugfests. If your on PS3 hit me up, I want to start/join a gym full of patient fighters and not brawlers/button mashers.
