No Stoppages......

I have no clue on how to get a stoppage in this game. I've had guys looking brutal with over 90% damage but I can't get a stoppage at all.

Also didn't they say there would be stoppages when guys aren't fighting back? I've had guys covered up on the ropes pounding away and haven't seen it.

Any advice on the stoppages. I have the damage slider cranked all the way up, but I'm not sure if the slider even works.

Also, is t pretty much just the AI's left eye that will get damaged? It seems like the jab would be effecting the left eye and the nose. Especically when I am righty and facing a lefty who's right eye is the lead.

It's takes 3 or 4 rounds after the initial cut to get a stoppage in my experience, but they do happen. You really have to hammer away at the cut though.

You can cut them on both sides of the face. In my last fight I actually had a guy cut above the eye on the right side and below the eye on the left, and it appeared that he also was cut on the bridge of the nose, but that might have been blood splatter.

I have hammered guys for round after round. Even let them stay on their feet so I could continue to pummell them. To no avail.

Each round they recover 5 to 10% on the cut so it never reaches 100. I'm on the 360. Seems like the 360 version has alot more problems than the PS3.

Ive seen several stoppages on the 360. Its just like Rob said.

The AI of the ref, I guess, for stoppages needs a LOT of work. I saw one stoppage, it was me fighting as Cotto online vs some dude using Oscar. I didn't like the fact that I was all over Oscar, pounding him, when it was suddenly stopped. The cut was bad, but this was early on, like the 5th round. You'll never see a stoppage in FNC where you are beating up a guy and he is basically just trying to cover up. No realistic stoppages - something that needs to be addressed, as it's a big part of the sport.

Got a stoppage last night playing as Kendall Holt against Tim Bradley. Ref stopped it around round 8 or 9. I play on Champion with Ref Awr at 10, Power at 5, Damage at 9 and Toughness at 5.

Finally got a stoppage. I moved up to champion difficulty and put stamina back to default. I had it at 0 before and moved damage up to 10. I stopped Leonard with Hearns in the 11th. I also stopped Manny with Mosely in 6.
