It works fine to me. The only thing I would do is make folks put a rating on it.

There is a rating for it besides blocking

It controls how fast you get your block up among other things


I like it too....The problem is that it is combined with "Perfect Block Freezing"
You take that out like the devs say they are going to and it becomes much better

And I wouldn't be opposed to it having an even better detection %.....The connect %s are absurdly high

It should be much harder to land punches, but when you do it should be felt

Yeah, I think the reflex coding is one thing they are going to tweak to decrease connect rates, making combos more important, which of course plays on stamina, which plays on connect rate. Vicious cycle, but if they tweak the blocking reflex and hit detection (make grazing shots not a shot, etc.) it will all be balanced.

Nope your not the only one. I think it makes players more cautious about what punches they throw. You have to really think about when to throw and when not to throw. It teaches you how to really stick and move. I fight in real life and it has the same effect. IN real life you can't just throw the same combo's all the time the other guy will eventually figure it out. Allot of these players don't like the AUTO BLOCK because there used to having there combo list from FN4. Last yr there guys who would practice a set combo list that was impossible to counter. I would play guys who had a ten punch combo memorized! It was ridiculous! I hope they stay with AUTO. if they don't it'll be jus like FN4 and your gonna see allot of spamming and allot of novice players memorizing a combo-list the game will turn into street-fighter.
