EA really needs to deliver what they advertise. Look at the damage and 1punch KO's mentioned in the videos. Now its gone.

I don't think we need 1 punch KOs. They are very rare in real life. The 1 punch KDs are good enough. Yes, I know it was advertised, but everyone complained about online play was ruined because of all the guys who loaded up there right hand and threw power punches hoping to get a 1 punch KO.

Are you saying that you can knock someone down with 1 punch and they will stay down?

Cuz if not you are talking about a flash knockdown, which was in FN4.

You need 1 punch KO's or else every fight turns into a marathon of knock the other person down 4 times to win.

Ok here I just beat the crap out of Gatti on 2 min Rounds with a CAB of me, Im WW and so is this Gatti and no I don't have everything maxed....though my R hook is a 20

Here Gatti is at the sound of the bell


After 3 rounds.....and his Damage bar is close to 50%


After 6 right before I knock him down


And...Him knocked completely senseless by the end of that round




I'll post my full sliders if you want but the main ones I had for this were Power at 6 and damage at 7

and here were the stats



Now like I said earlier, Id still like to tone it back up a little for Online, but as far as offline Im getting the same results still....just had to increase the damage.....for comparison I had my Power at 6 and Damage at 0 before the patch

I just knocked Calzaghe out with Lacy in the second round with a perfect straight right and it wasn't even power modified. Now i knocked him down in the first and he stunned me pretty bad also but the second one was midway throught the 2nd so even thought i didn't get the referee animation where he just stops it immediately or where it just goes straight to guy laying on the canvas it's still the same effect because it was one punch and Calzaghe never got up. I didn't have to pummel him to the canvas 4 or 5 times like usual.

I have power at 8 and damage at 10 (max). I barely see any swellings or cuts. Trying to enjoying the game and hoping for next patch or tuner to fix some of the issues.

I just finished a match in OWC and cut the guy. Here he is in the 8th round. Notice my stamina too..lol. He came out swinging and I would throw maybe 30 punches a round.

*I deleted the DLC from the harddrive
*I disconnected my ether net cord
*Fired up the game and played it all night in its original form, no patch or tuners

Really enjoyed seeing damage and having 1 punch knock outs back. I was having a great match Pacman vs Augustus, going into the 5th I was controlling the fight with nice combinations stepping in and out. Then I swear he timed me coming in and POW lights out, LOVED IT, I got cocky I paid.

I thought about doing that, but I don't want to have download all the patches for the games I have again. Some games I still play are fairly old and I am not sure I could get everything back. That and I paid for the extra boxers and I hear it will freeze if you try to use them without the patch.

I am still holding out hope that EA will provide a solution for people who want the flash KO's and damage.

On a side note, I have been able to get a few cuts with power at 8 and damage at 10 on GOAT. The problem is that it leads to too many knockdowns and it usually becomes a race to 4 knockdowns I lowered the power and even at 6, the damage was very minimal even though the fights tended to last longer.
