Punch stats in-game and in real boxing...

I think theres something wrong there. You could probably average 150 punches per round in-game and in real boxing if you throw a punch every 2 seconds, but the stats have boxers barely over 50 per round. Punch connect rates are also very low. Anybody else notice this?

Three minutes in a round is 180 seconds. 1 punch every 2 seconds is 90/round. You'd be hard pressed to find ANY real life boxer that can throw 150/round.

This really depends on the fighters and the weight class and style. General rule is the lower you go the more you can throw. However, look at Marquez's punch stat totals for the second half of the first Pacquiao fight. So, just saying 50 is too low or too high won't work.

It isn't the computers that are the problem, it's the monkeys hitting the keys. Regardless, Marquez was able to control Pacquiao and win round throwing much less than welterweights usually do.
